Kayfun dark juice streaks

Sometimes I get nasty taste and I see dark streaks of juice floating up from the juice channels. Is it burning the juice? It tastes nasty right now and there are these dark juice streaks floating up.

I've never seen that in mine, but it does sound like some toasted juice. I would guess your coil is getting all gunked up and nasty.

Most likely coil has gunked up it is dissolving into the liquid. You should drain and clean the tank and dry burn coil or replace with a new one.

If this is happening only after a short time, could be from improper wick contact, specifically to much wicking material. If this is happening after a couple tanks, then it's just time to change out wick and dry burn

I tend to get this with darker, sweeter juices (Bounty does this for me). Sometimes its just the sugars, etc depositing on the coil and then burning. The clear, lighter juices tend to not do this as much. I like building micro coils and wicking with cotton. That way I can just easily pull the cotton out and replace with new. Better than trying to avoid juices I like the flavour of.
