Yes it is a clone from FT - recoiled at 1.6ohm and bunny balls on my SVD with JC Ten and drop of Swiss Dark - WOW.

Only think I am concerned about is running it on low or no juice and not only burning the wick but a nasty vape. Guess trial n error will tell me when to drop some some juice.

I am new to RBAs - does anyone make one that has a pyrex cover so one could see when to add more juice?

Ok - found another post that talked abt tanked RDAs - but it said only used SS mesh......i dont want to venture into SS right now - are there any that can be wicked with cotton? Thanks

You can use silica in tanked RBAs. Stainless steel is just the preferred wick material. I don't have any tank RBAs, so I can't tell you how the performance is one way or the other. I rebuild the coils on my protanks and drippers with 28g Kanthal and silica.

As far as the original question, you'll know when to add juice because the flavor and vapor drops off. You should never really need a clear housing for a dripper.
