TLDR: Will a Kayfun lite work well throughout the day without flooding if its not used very much?
Hello! This is my first thread so I figured I'd introduce myself too. I quit smoking 5 years ago, yet started vaping only 2 months ago. Kind of odd I guess... but I'm hooked! I have an extremely addictive personality and vaping is my obsession at the moment. Its not so much the actual vaping that got me, but all the hardware and juice and tinkering waiting to be done. My wife and I started at the same time with little eGo setups. Mine didnt last very long and I needed to replace it. It was all downhill from there! I've since acquired an eVic, Sigelei 30 and a Manhattan. I have some Kanger tanks, a Nautilus, Fogger and a Tugboat. I'm also about $400 in on DIY e liquid supplies. I LOVE Cuttwood Unicorn Milk and Sugar Bear, still looking to duplicate them because I won't even vape the juices I've made.
Anyways, the other night the wife and I were talking and she commented how well her little eGo was working. I said yeah well its gonna die pretty soon here though. But the guy said it would last a year? I said uhh no... Funny cuz the next night hers died
She could see my excitement at getting to replace her setup. She said just get me another one like I already had... HAH NO! I ordered her a black nemesis she'll use in 18350 along with a black Kayfun Lite. I also ordered the hybrid kit and magnets for it. Its gonna be a pimp looking little mod for her. The concern, since I've not owned a Kayfun is that it will flood on her. She is a nurse so in a 12 hour period she might get 3 chances to hit it. That, along with it bobbing around her pocket all night have me wondering if it might have an issue.
The build videos I've seen on the Kayfun show keeping the wick away from the juice channels. I'm thinking in her case I might want to tuck that wick into the channel a bit instead since she's not a big hitter cloud chaser. Wicking won't be an issue because even when she does hit it its maybe 3 times. It will be in the 1.2-1.5 range so its not going to be very hot either. My nautilus would be a good choice for her, but she's liking the solid black look of what I've ordered. Any input from some experienced Kayfun folks would be great!
Thanks!
