Kayfun lite 2 leaking

Maybe this will be of some help if you haven't solved your problem yet....

As it seems you only have the problem after filling the kayfun, so maybe you're overfilling it and the pressure created just sends the juice to the chamber, hence leaking and stops faterwards. I have had this problem untill i started to be not so lazy and only fill it untill the transparent section is covered. I wicked the thing more then should be enough but after trial and error i now just fill it until there. Other thing: blow air through the airhole cleaning the tube so you have NO liquid trapped there, this also helps in leaking.

After playing around for a while with it i got the picture and now i can't live without them....

I'd totally forgotten about this! Great point. I've been using the stainless sleeve lately and had the issue when I first switched over from the clear section.

Well but it doesn't always stop leaking and the leaking usually started a few hours after filling it. I think it might have been too much wicking and maybe it was dripping down the breather hole. Twice I lost a whole tank of e-juice. I might start using a syringe to fill it, this way pressure isn't an issue.

Ok, I got my 28 gauge kanthal wire monday and made a proper micro coil and used an organic cotton ball for wicking. After a day and still no gurgling sound I am guessing I was using too much wicking and it was dripping into the breather hole. 10 wraps around (a 1/16th" drill bit) 1.8 ohms


So any video's or instructions on how to clean the micro coil?
