As long as there's plenty of liquid in your wicking material to act as a heat-sink, I doubt you'd melt the insulator.

If your primary goal is maximum vapor production, the kayfun probably isn't for you.

On a side note, I hope you're using a battery that can keep up with such low resistances. If not, your face may melt instead of the insulator.

My battery is good. Its a sony, forget the model but it's good down to about .18ohms. Well I get great vapor from my igo I'm just looking for a rebuildable with a tank that also has good vapor.

Tanks and Drippers are two very different animals.
Good Vapor is also subjective. Sounds like, for you, this = a lot of cloud vs. extreme cloud.

For me - KayFun lite 1.4ohm, MNKE Battery, Cotton wick - Large Bore drip tip - gets plenty of Vapor - 50/50 e-liquid

You're right, to an extent. I am cloud chasing. I understand I won't get huge clouds from my kayfun but it needs more airflow
