Ok, so I bought a kayfun Lite clone a few weeks ago. I absolutely love it, and its been the only topper I use.

My only problem is the fact that it leaks from the drip tip within an hour of use. When I pull out the drip tip, there's a huge pool of liquid in where the drip tip sits, and I have to blow into the tip to get a whole bunch of juice out of it.

My question is this, does the authentic kayfun Lite have this problem? I really hate having to clean this out almost every hour.

I own a couple of the authentic KFL's. I don't have this issue with either of them.

This is very good to know. I might purchase one just for the convenience.

I don't have that problem with my "SvoëMest" KFL clone. Do you keep your mod on its side between puffs?

Lol, I have a clone without the "O" as well. It sits atop my Nemesis, and is absolutely never on its side.

Just for context, I just cleaned it about 20 minutes ago, and this was how much juice came out.

Are you using the original drip tip? I'm guessing that the buildup is from condensation, and that something is preventing it from running back down into the atomizer chamber.

Yup, I'm using all original parts it came with, other than my Kanthal and cotton.

Did you check to make sure the tiny little o-ring at the base of the very top cap was in place? It can be easy to miss. If you unscrew just the topcap, the part the driptip plugs into, and look at the inside there should be an o-ring right inside the tube that feeds up to the driptip. If that ring isn't there your Kafun will leak out the tip no question. Only other thing I can think of is that maybe your juice channels are cut really deep, maybe try using more wick to sop that extra juice up is so.

Hard to trouble shoot remotely, just a few thoughts.

That is absolutely something I will check when I fill it next. It's about 3/4 full so I don't want to dismantle it just yet lol.

Can you do me a huge favor and provide a picture so I know where to look?

I only mention because it can come out when you clean the KFL and it can also work itself out of that hole down onto the chimney pipe breaking that seal. Just something to double check.

Thank you so much. I'll look when I drain this tank. That's probably what it is, knowing my luck Lol. Any chance you know the size of that o-ring since if it's missing I'll have to purchase one

I'll look around and see if I can find a spec that lists the size, off hand all I can tell you is its about the size of a deflated cheereo...lol. I did find the user manual for the real Kafun which is pretty cool though:

http://www.meshweaver.com/temp/vaping/SVOEMESTO_KAYFUN_v3.1ES_USER_MANUAL.pdf

Maybe the o-ring is the same size as the driptip? Would make it 8mm, just a guess though.

I have this same problem whether I am using a Protank or a Kayfun. It was really bothering me for a couple months because I was always cleaning it out, but I finally found a solution!! My solution has been to just ignore it! It only builds up to a certain amount and then the rest must run back down into the atty. Sorry I don't have a solution where no juice comes up, but when it does now I just ignore it.

Even if its there, check the O ring for a slight tear, split or thinning as it could have been nipped and torn in the factory when assembling and a slight tear would allow juice to pressure past the O ring causing the very thing you have as an issue.

Also machining oil could be behind the O ring in the recess allowing a poor seal so maybe dig about in there with a q tip to ensure its a nice clean seat for the ring itself.

I take it you haven't had leaking from the air hole on the baseplate? If you haven't then it really is down to that little O ring up top as somehow its acting as a one way valve allowing the vacuum to force perhaps a little at a time, I think you have the ring in place as without it you would have bottom and top leaking issues.

I checked the manual, but no indication of o-ring size. I'll take a look online. Thanks for all your help
