I just received two tobeco kfl clones. One is super nice awesome threads no machine oil , however the other machined terribly crunchy threads and the 510 connector portion wasn't fully threaded so it can't even screw onto any mod. Ticketed Ft we shall see the results. It's funny though the one I said was super nice is actually almost identical to the rocket that everyone makes fun of... Had I known then what I know now I would've gotten more rockets instead of " upgrading" to a tobeco kfl. Anyways rant over now for my question. Does anyone know if the tobeco is compatible with the nano kits?can I hybrid it? If yes to both can I hybrid and nano it at the same time?

Got mine today. Tobeco kfl from fasttech. No crunchy threads. Everything fits well. No leakage, but I did nine builds trying to figure out why the draw was so tight. Turns out two grub screws were installed in it but I didn't realize it until I put a light in the hole. (Two on the kfl and one extra in the baggy) once I backed the second grub screw out all is well. I must have gotten lucky because it really does thread on and off very smooth, has no whistle at all and the workmanship looks good.

Make sure you check the AFC if you get one with a really tight draw.

I did take dish soap and a toothbrush to it. It did have a light coat of machine oil on it but after the soap, brush, a mouthwash soak, and a final rinse, all is well.

Ok so the last order I posted was sent on nov 16 and it finally says ready for pickup at post office as of the 10th of January. Now I know I didn't win the longest ship time but holy crap that was a good one, multiple email sent, and fasttech were great about it, bit of a long response time during the busy period, to be expected. Not a fun wait this time but it's here now and only 2 months, less a couple days.

Anyone know of a place that sells it with both the stainless and clear tank?

Kidney puncher and they have the 91 and the lite and 3.1 clones and sell clear and stainless tank in it and have all the clear parts that's the rave. Unfortunately I just ordered mine two hours ago from them but couldn't get the cool clear stuff (except what it came with) cuz they were out atm

Man mine will come tomorrow and I hope I don't have that problem. Is it really that much harder to get it to work just cuz the top part of the screw is round? Where the other replacement screws round too? If I have the same problem I really hope I can just go to a hardware store and find the right size flat ones. My igo-L has round headed screws and it works great

Maybe you won't have a problem. Yes. The replacements were the same screws. Keep in mind, I am new to building and using 28 gauge kanthal. However, my authentic KFL+ doesn't have the same problem. Tightens down every time without issue, but whistles like crazy. If you do experience the same thing, you can buy pan head screws. They're 6 cents a piece with flat $6 shipping. I believe you could find them locally too. M1.6 x 4mm.

I hope you have better luck!

I own the Tobeco it is usable. For the 25 bucks I paid, I guess it is ok. Can't do .5 ohm builds though, channels are too shallow to wick fast enough. For 1.5 ohm builds it is working great at 8 watts on my lavatube.

This on the other hand is WAY better build quality. Deeper channels, better threads, comes with full m-tank, all ready pre-drilled to 2mm, and has the trapped top o-ring instead of the floating one that likes to stay on the chimney. Can wick fast enough to support dual coil .5 ohm build without ever giving dry hits, something tobeco can't do. Also, awesome vendor:

I have a few Kayfun Lite Plus clones by several makers. I just ordered a pair of the EHPro versions in black and gold. The 4 channel one I got off ebay though works best with lower ohm coils than the others. I rarely build the Kayfuns less than 1.0 ohms and save those builds for the drippers. My drippers are the Omega, IGO-W, IGO-M and Patriot which I prefer on my Nemesis mods. I got the 2 Ehpro for the copper nemi and when using the black tubes with my nemi stainless version.
