Considering the kayfun Mini is now discontinued, I'm happy to have the opportunity to buy a clone. They just went on sale at angelcigs.com either yesterday or today. I picked one up. $29.99, but you can find 10% off coupons so it brought mine down to $26.99.

Really nice site. I see they even have the black stingray.:)

You may want to check out the other Kayfun mini thread, more info there. I got the Tobeco version. Generally good. EGo ring is the proper size. The clear tube, OTOH isn't. It's walls are thicker than the metal section. I doubt anything thicker than 100% PG has any chance of flowing through the extremely narrow gap between the wall of the chamber and the clear section (it's debatable if even that would flow). It's OK to use in long mode if you use it as the middle section. All in all its an acceptable clone. Filling from the top works well enough. I screw in the airflow screw all the way, fill from top, put on and tighten top, open airflow screw and wipe up the slight leakage. The Tobeco version doesn't come with the fill can and my standard bottle with metal tip doesn't fit. So I can't comment on whether the fill valve works or not.

If I was buying another I'd get the angelcigs version and hope that the clear section was better designed and didn't have the overly thick walls. And I'd be curious about the fill can and using the fill valve.

I have both and the Ivogo tank(clear) is flared making it larger.. The Tobeco can hardly get liquid around it... Bad design by Tobeco.. The Ivogo works very well! Angelcigs has them.

The FastTech one appears to be the Tobeco version. If not its designed exactly the same way. Which means it suffers from the same design error as the Tobeco. The clear tank section is the same diameter as the metal sections. Not larger like the original and Ivogo versions. At half the price as domestically available choices though, it's tempting.

From the pictures they listed I didn't see any clear evidence like the plastic and metal tank on top of each other showing if there's a difference or not. But you're right, it didn't appear to be flared out at all, though analyzing stuff from fasttech's pictures is kinda pointless, I'll find out in about a month I guess...

I've also heard some people saying they haven't had any problems with their tobeco clear tank and 100% vg, really seems like a crap shoot at times...

I haven't had a problem with the ones I got from Angel. In fact, I liked the first one so much, I ordered a second for the wife. We both use some fairly thick juice in them.... Although, we haven't used 100% vg yet. With a small amount of cotton, and with a small piece of biowick, we've had great results. Filling can be a bit tricky. I prefer the top fill method, and have gotten it down so there are no leaks. Just turn it upside down as soon as the threads catch, and you should be good.
Let us know about the FastTech version, Please!!

I have the tobeco version and with the plastic section there was almost in juice flowing between the top section and the wicks, with the metal lower section it's a really nice vape. I can't see the juice but it also doesn't leak out like a kfl when I open the top to see the juice level. I'm seriously considering the angelcigs version to add to my kayfun fleet

From the little bit I've read, the two popular ones are Ivogo from angel cigs and Tobecco from I'm assuming lots of vendors.

The Ivogo one had a "bowed" out clear section that is fatter, which gives more space between the wicking chimney and the plastic and works great. Everyone loves it.

Then the Tobecco version is more "straight" with its clear section. This doesn't provide enough space and the juice is choked off and provides wicking issues. Stainless tank seems fine.

I haven't read which one fast tech actually carries. That's why I'm so curious.

Nobody's gotten one from FastTech yet, that's why. However from the pictures, it appears to be the Tobeco version since it has the straight clear tank. Trouble is that the pictures at FastTech aren't always what actually gets shipped out.

I just ordered one from fasttech, REALLY hoping to get lucky with a good clone...

I just ordered 2 from fast tech please report back with thoughts. Herd complaints about the clear tube having a thickness problem hindering wicking and it should only used in the middle in 4ml mode.

Sorry guys, will have to get your review elsewhere, fasttech went restocking, so I cancelled it and ordered from angelcigs...

My order says they will start shipping on the 18th. I ordered on the 16th and mine is scheduled to ship on the 24th which is pretty typical fast tech BS. We'll just wait and see.
