I just got a mini this week and i have rebuilt about 6 times so far and it still leaks through the air hole after i draw on it. I cannot figure out what i am doing wrong. Yes i searched the net and read all the posts as it seems this is a common problem of leaking from the airholr in general. Check the top O ring, make sure the coil is not too close, etc. But for the life of me i cannot get it not too leak after a vape on it

It says to build it like a regular kayfun but I do have one and am doing it in the same way but to no avail

I am wondering if there were any tips anyone would have when they build theirs out or anything special they do. Any tips would be welcome

Definitely I have been blowing it after filling it. It really does seem to have a some kind of super vacuum in it. I can see the air bubbles "stuck" between the outer clear tank and the inner post cover thingy. I was thinking there was too much vacuum in it. If i see them "stuck" i can depress the fill ball and it releases them. Which makes sense since i am letting air into the chamber. But is that the kind of vacuum it should have on it? Barring clearomizers this is the smallest atty I have.

I will try opening the airflow all the up when I get back home today and see if that makes a difference.
I was just getting so tired of pouring out the juice and trying not to lose any of it over and over again.

Kryp2nite26, Curious as to how are you wicking it? Are you letting wick lay on the bottom of the deck or are you leaving just a little tail at the top of the juice channel?

I've wicked it both ways. Lately I've been cutting the cotton a LITTLE bit long and laying the wick in an "L" shape along the bottom of the deck. Though I haven't noticed a difference doing it this way. A simple rule for wicking these as I have found is to cut the cotton so it just barely touches the deck while not covering the juice channels at all. I actually use a toothpick to kind of press the wick back away from the juice channels when I wick it. I'm going to rewick it when I get home. I'll post a pic of how I do it.

Here is the simplest way I have found to wick my Mini. Like I said earlier, I have tried laying the cotton on an "L" shape along the top of the juice channel, but I didn't notice a difference that way. This way is easier and faster IMO.

mine leak for a moment right after the fill.

What I do is top-fill it, as you would top-fill a regular KF, turn it upside down and blow out the juice in the air hole, and then hit it like normal. THEN I cover the air hole with my finger and pull hard (suction), and the release it suddenly while still pulling. Generally that establishes the vacuum and no more leaks till it has to be filled again.

I love the mini KF

Pressing the valve is a definite no no. That will cause immediate over wicking as Vacuum needs to be maintained.
Vacuum is what holds the liquid in the tank until your draw over powers it. Then e-liquid moves until you stop. Air then equalizes in the tube and the fluid stops.
The bubbles you see are replacing spent fluid.

I have no issues whatsoever using the fill valve to fill mine. Just have to make sure to turn it upside down 1st. Lately though, I have been using the finger over the hole top fill method, simply because I find it to be faster. I've never had a leak issue, no matter what I do to this thing. I really love it.

Hmm, I've had the IVOGO Kayfun mini from Angelcigs for about 2 weeks now I think. I've always topped filled it, with my finger over the air intake hole, then did the turn upside down after a half screw and then removing my finger and screwing it in all the way. I haven't had any leaking whatsoever. I usually don't fill it all the way to the top though, just a little bit after the clear tank section. I don't find it bothersome to refill it so I usually keep it kinda low so I can change the juice out often.

Thanks for the feed back everyone.
Kry2nite26 yea it is pretty much like that i have a tad more cotton on the deck but not much more. I think maybe it is as crxess suggested that maybe the draw is too tight i really haven't fooled with it the last couple days. I am sick as a dog and can't be bothered at the moment but from what everyone is saying there is definitely something up. I think i will take good look at the airflow hole / screw and make sure it is not obstructed with anything as well as loosing it up all the way. I did wash it all out when i got it but you never know ... yanno. if i survive this i'll post an update. Oh and if it makes any diff i am using it in the long setup.

How lose of draw do you all have it set at?

I've only ever used mine in short tank mode. I would say I have my screw about halfway out. Just until it stops feeling like the draw has any resistance. If you continue to have this issue, maybe contact the vendor you got it from and ask for a replacement. I must have gotten lucky with mine. This was my 1st RBA and so far it has been the best vape I've ever had. I hope you get your issue sorted.

Well I took out the screw for the airflow control and blew it out then tried it again and i can see the vacuum is not as overwhelming as it was so i put it back in just a bit and that seems that have made stop leaking. The screw is still protruding it is so loose but it does appear to have done the trick so it looks like that was the problem
I am going to see how much i can get it screw it in until it is too tight again
This thing is almost a foot long i think  I should post a pict of it
Thanks everyone
