Anybody know what kind of heat a kayfun 3.1 can handle? First attempt on a coil came in at .5 ohms im safe on the battery but i dont want to melt an insulator. Am i good to go or is it time to get out the wire agian?

Ya the throat hit is Hard but it is bearable. And its my first sub ohm hit. Got the kf and a nemesis clone at the same time so figured why not when my build came up low. First mech mod loving it so far
My personal preference is to come in at 0.9 - 1.2 simply because the 3.1 is a big mamma jamma and I don't want to have to use am 18650 battery. only 490s of 350s for me thank you!
I just set mine up last night with 26 gauge 6 wrap microcoil around a 1/16 drill bit with cotton wick. Came out to .57 ohms. This is on the Kayfun 3.1 clone by Hcigar. The coil is pretty close to the air hole, but it is vaping nicely. It is a really warm vape with a lot of flavor. Is this too low ohm for a kayfun? This was my second try on it, first successful build.
i run 2 of my 4 kayfuns between .5 to .7Ω with no issues. i do only run those with the 18650 batts.
I just re-wrapped mine. Twisted 27 gauge 6/7 wrap micro coil around a 5/64 drill bit, coming out at .59 ohms with a cotton wick. Vaping Peaches and Cream by Jameson/Jackson. Lovin' it
Jameson's peaches and cream is the BEST juice known to man! Literally gone through probably half a liter of it since I started vaping, spent a mint on it but sooo worth it. If you like peaches as a flavor you should check out Space jam Robofuel's Omega, it is the only juice that I've found that stacks up to Jameson's. It's also Peaches and Cream but just a little sweeter maybe, more of a candy peach than a real one but MAN it's good. Running Jameson's in one Kayfun and Omega in the other, Double fisted!!
I run twisted Kanthal at 1ohm which gets hot as hell since the coil is BIG and have no problems.
