Sorry I don't have an answer for you. I do want to know if the tank can be used without that spring since its missing on mine. Thanks

Yes, it can be used, but you have to unscrew the airflow screw until it touches the inside piece. That is what I am doing now, but I wan tto be able to tighten up the draw.

I had a spring fail in my V4 clone. I started thinking and found a clicker ink pen I had remembered that had a brass spring. Took it apart, alcohol cleaned it, and modified (cut to size)said brass spring and used it until I could find a replacement spring online. It worked perfectly (and I run temp control!). ECCigarettes.com in USA carries all sorts of replacement parts for K4. I got a replacement spring as well as gaskets and 510 screw and insulator there.

Nice! I was thinking about using one of the springs from a pen too, but my concern was if it had less resistance than my coil, it could cause problems. I am currently using a 22mm kanthal coil, and most pen springs are much smaller in diameter.

Key thing in my case was "brass" excellent conductor. I knew I had a pen lying around I could cannibalize. Also brass is less likely to rust (very fast). Use caution. Unless you could recognize a brass or get lucky on a SS spring. As far as performance the brass spring I used made my K4 less finicky in TC than the stock spring. I always had stability. as far as watt mode worked flawless. 15 was 15/50 was 50.

Thank you buy I'm looking to buy them locally. Seems hard to find micro screws at hardware stores. Also tried calling some hobby shops, went to a couple cell phone repair shops to rummage through their screws but no luck do far.

Check Kidney Puncher's Kayfun kit w/ all the o-rings and M1.6x4mm screws. I bought 4 or 5 kits a couple of years ago and have only used up one set of screws and a few o-rings.
