I have a Tobeco, and its perfect, and there are many happy owners. But, very recently I've seen a couple posts from people who got problem ones.

I might look now at getting the EHPro or HCigar. One thing I like on the HCigar is you can get one with their logo, no logo or the Svoemesto logo. I would love a no logo one.

That's not the norm. That's definitely the exception if you read the whole thread. Who the hell knows what's going on with that one.
I'm neither anti-clone or anti-authentic , I own and use both . But out of a small circle of vaping friends I know of three that have had issues with authentic Kayfuns , I'm talking about experienced vapers , not newbs . Crap happens , buying an authentic is not a guarantee of perfection .

There can always be quality control issues when trying to put out large quantities of a product. Take the plumeveil 1.2 release. A ton of people received the authentics with burrs still on the device and just overall a crappy device for over $150.

That's true. I guess nothing can be guaranteed perfect.

Tobeco and the EHpro both seem to very hit and miss mostly because the rushed to clone the V4 in my opinion they just plain rushed the release and the quality control was poor in both cases. You have a 50/ 50 chance with either to get a top notch unit or not the SKU 2096001 - Infinite Kayfun V4 was released a bit later and after reading and watching many youtube videos and ready many forum reviews the SKU 2096001 - Infinite Kayfun V4 form fast tech give you more tank options and better quality control on the new V4 kayfun.

Being I ordered it from slow tech it will be a few weeks before mine arrives but when it does I will update this thread with my review on the SKU 2096001 - Infinite Kayfun V4 this model did come with every tank option SS PMMA Glass and the bell cap that no one else offers. Hopefully this will be the hands down winner. I beilive that most times the first few cloners no matter who they are even Hcigar, EHPRO and Tobeco many time there first offering are loaded with defects and. Most times later on they get it right but so far I have just seen way to many bad reviews on both as well as many say they are great.

I had a very poor taifun mini from ehpro and had to send one unit back bu the second was fine.

I know most think that buying the original is the way to go but many of us just can't afford authentic mods and many times I have seen clone better made than original. I think if original manufactures would not price gouge there would not be a need for clones. I mean 180 for a atty is ridiculous now if they would make the stuff at say 75$ they would give the clones a run for there money and more would buy the original. I know I would. if a clone that is just was well made can be made for say 40$ then the authentic should sell for say 75 but the OEM manufacturers are just to greedy and and don't think in volume of sale they want to get rich and selling a handful instead of hundreds of units and to top it off many authentics have just as many issues as the clones so if it was really true that the reasons that OEM cost more is the cost of R&D then they should should have perfect releases every time but they don't.

Just about every product that is made when first released cost way more and when a new model is released the older models prices drop dramatically in the Mods and atty that is one of the only places it dont happen it still 90$ or more for the kayfun lite plus and v3.1 and the 3.1 was junk and the Fill port never worked on the OEM or the clones but still sell for over 90$ for what I would say was a flop design. Then they want to charge a arm and leg to get new options like 40 for the glass tank for a kayfun lite that sells on fastech for 5$.

So as far as the OEM vs. the clone hay what ever make you happy but buying OEM don't mean your getting a better product and sometime you even getting a worst product.

But anyway this thread was not about the OEM model it was about the best V4 clone so I am getting way off topic but I will report back once my new SKU 2096001 - Infinite Kayfun V4 from slowtech arrives and let you know if it was the right choice or a flop.

    Thanks to everyone that responded
