Kayfun V5 air flow problem

Why would all my air flow adjustments feel like the same setting, to loose to get any flavor. Can anyone show me a picture or guide of where all the o-rings should be located, and my coil is just above the center air hole maybe 1-2 mm above it.

Heres the parts diagram. I have a Tobeco clone and the air flow is drastically different from setting to setting. Wide open is almost like a single coil rda.

I can't figure out what happened, I took the build deck off by twisting the top off as one piece and washed it with water because I was switching from menthol to regular and after rebuilding there was no more air flow differences. I checked the screen in the sink and there was no part that fell off or anything.
