I've seen a lot of threads regarding burnt hits and wicking problems. Normally, this is resolved by people finding that sweet spot for coil and wick placement in the chimney area.
Now this weekend, I picked up another hcigar clone and had a new wicking problem that I thought I would share - one of the feed channels did not go deep enough. So here are some pics, so people can double check when they are going through their troubleshooting process.

Here is a pic of the good side. Notice how the groove goes through the threading and into the block, creating a nice ravine for fluid.

Here is a pic of the bad side. The vertical and horizontal grooves do not meet. Furthermore, the vertical groove on the deck is only going deep enough to cut through the threading - not the block itself. So once you screw down the chimney base, this side of the deck is starved from fluid.

I just wanted to share, so anyone with a similar situation, will be aware and not go out of their minds making coils and wicks for days, to no avail. Lol
FYI, I am just going to use a dremel to deepen the groove and connect them - and I should be good to vape after that.

Very similar to the juice feeding problem I had with one of my Tobecco "Black edition" clones. Only on mine it was the bottom channels that were not cut deep enough on both sides. Once you screwed the chimney down all the way no juice could get under the chimney. It fed no juice at all untill I got out the dremmel.
