Love the kbox 200, currently using protank I & II, recently order kanger top tank, anyone able to tell me if the toptank is much better than the protank, I think the protank is great!!!!

I would say YES! New level of vaping... much more powerful, mind you.
The Protank 1 was a curious beast... nice-ish vape, very weird airflow (too much)... not a classic.
The 2 was better, many people 'modded' them with the AFC (Airflow control base) to solve the slow-wicking and strange reversal of strategy to cut down airflow. Quite good, still a low power vape.
3 was disastrous, unless you had a good mod (good at that time) capable of firing at least 12-14 watts.
(I know, seems crazy, but we were getting by with some terribly low-powered rigs)
4 - um, new design and concept altogether.

The Toptank is very different to Protank 1,2,3. I would say for the better, unless you like MTL vapes at low watts.

Good luck. :)

The Protanks 1 and 2 were my daily tanks when I got started. I still use the PT2 almost daily. They are low wattage tanks and coils suffer above 11w.

The successor (or latest in the PT line) is the Subtank Mini C / Protank 5. I haven't had the opportunity to try that yet, but will soon.

You'd want the PT4, the PT5 don't have AFC ring or fit the RBA... the juice flow control is in the way cause the RBA is like 2.2mm bigger.

The RBA is an option I can do without since I physically can't build coils. What's the AFC ring and why is it needed?

Oh sorry, the air flow control ring. It better represents the PT line then the PT4 as its only DTL, 1 setting where others were only MTL. PT4 should have been called the Aerotank 3 or SubTank 2.
