Wondering if anybody's got any bright ideas to fix this. Im using a Kbox with a Subtank plus, was working fine, for some reason after I refilled the tank the lights blink on the Kbox instead of firing, which as far as I know means the resistance is too low or the battery doesnt have enough charge to safely fire. I tried a fresh battery, same thing, blinking lights. Tried the tank on anothe mod, fires normally. Put the tank on a multimeter, 0.5 ohms which the Kbox has no problem firing on. I accidentally fired it while I was unscrewing the tank from the kbox, and it fired. I screwed it back on, blinking lights. If I unscrew it like 15 degrees, it fires, just not all the way screwed down, but if its not screwed flush it wobbles, so...any ideas why its doing this?

Im using the rba head. Its definitely connecting, like I said, it fires when its not screwed flush, it just wont fire when its screwed all the way down, i have to unscrew it like 20 degrees for it to fire...The only thing I can think of is that maybe somehow when it screws all the way down its connecting somehow to something else on the mod or the tank and its shorting it out?? I dont get it.

Hello - I do not not know if this will help -- but it might.

When I was using the kanger nano -- I had a similar issue and it had to do with the threading and insulator ring inside the 510 threading hole. I think it was from me dropping it and knocking it over or just from using but the threading was somehow slightly off and the insulator ring that was surrounding it was not right. My tank would only work in a certain position which was in a slightly crooked position but worked fine on other boxes. I actually did that to 2 boxes so now I use a top fill tank because I really think in my case it was putting on and off the tank so many times plus knocking it over or dropping it.

What I did for a temp fix until I got a new box was I purchased one of these.

Smoktech 510 Tank Airflow Controller

It somehow temporarily fixed my issue. It screws into the box and sits flush and adds I think the just the right amount of balance and weight and the tank screws into that. It adds a little bit of height and it is preferable to look around for one that fits the diameter of your tank but it did work for me.

May be time for a new box soon.
