So I've been using my kbox mini for months now. Recently I have experienced a jumping ohm reading. My coil is at .56 ohms (tried it on a cuboid and a tarot mod) and my kbox is reading it at 1.0 and above. Then yesterday, it just stopped firing and the ohm reading is blinking at 9.99 ohms. I tried cleaning the 510 pin, pushing it up a bit with a flathead screwdriver and still no sign of firing. I just hope that someone out there knows how to fix this. I am pretty sure it is something with my mod because I tried my atty on a cuboid and a tarot and they both worked fine. Could it be a loose connection inside? I am pretty much satisfied with my kbox and it would be really sad if I have to replace this thing.

The positive of the 510 is not reaching the atty positive. If you can't adjust of wangle the one on the mod, if it's adjustable you could extend the atty positive pin down to meet it?
Is the mod still under warrantee?
The warranty ended months ago, I tried pushing the 510pin on my mod and touch the 510 pin of my atty, no luck. I get the feeling it is something from the connections inside.

Tried it. My atty is read at .56 on a cuboid and a tarot. I tried mounting 2 atty on my mod, it both showed 9.99 ohms error. That's why I'm pretty it is something about my mod

I had the 9.99 on my Subox Mini-C the day before yesterday. I wound up making a new coil for the atty (a Digiflavor Siren) and the error went away, so I didn't think much about it. I hope this doesn't keep happening, but if all I have to do to fix it is put a new coil in, that's no big deal to me. I just hope it doesn't happen often. It is disappointing, though, because I love this mod. It's small, comfy in the hand and is very scratch-resistant. I wish I knew of other mods with the same durable finish.
