I will apologize in a advance for this rant.

I recently contacted Kebo, makers of the popular Russian 91%, because I saw they were coming out with new Russian's in black and gold. I wanted to be the first to bring them to the states so they were available from a US vendor and didn't gave to wait 2 weeks for China post. Everything was normal, as I have done this in the past worth paintball equipment and car audio gear. The only odd thing was the moq being so high on the gold 91%, 500 pieces, when the black was only 100. Not a big deal though as I'm sure I could move them easily. I explained to the rep (Sunny Chen) I wanted to get a sample before placing the full order. This has never been a problem with any other company I have worked with in the past. Since I have seen less than desirable black coatings recently and the big scare over the flaking coating Tobeco had on the Squape deck, I wanted to check these out and make sure no issues would arise on something I was about to spend $30,000 on. At this point I thought it necessary to ask for a sample. In the past I have gotten them for free from time to time but I would prefer to pay the normal wholesale cost for whatever it is just in case I don't like the product, this way I don't feel obligated to send it back. Like I said, I don't expect a company to give me anything for free, but when I'm looking to purchase 600+ atomizers from you, I ask about a sample, and you direct me to a site to buy a single atomizer for $135, which is above retail cost, that doesn't sit well with me. That just screams that you don't give 2 sh!ts about my business. When I said something about not wanting to pay more than full price for a sample, I got "ask vaporshark and Mt. baker vapor. they order 100000USD for russian. also need wait 8weeks. 100% payment"

What does that have to do with anything? If you want to do comparisons, these are large companies placing $100,000 orders,. I am one guy looking to place a $30,000 order and you treat me like a guy that walked into you plant off the street. I think a single guy looking to place an order 1/3 the size of a large company would warrant some hint of respect, but that doesn't seem to be what your company cares about... It's not about the customers with you, it's only about the money.

I don't have a sense of entitlement, but I was raised to think "if I want their business, I better treat them right"

I sent him a picture of the $30k sitting in my lap that will not be coming to his business, instead to one of their competitors. I have half a mind to commission an exact replica of the 91% all the way down to a perfect box replica and flood the market with half price Russians. Maybe next time they won't look down their nose at me and dismiss me since I'm not a million dollar company.

If this is the wrong section, I'm sorry. Feel free to move it. I don't think I broke any forum rules in this post. If I did, it was unintentional.
