Ok folks, I searched and have not found a good solution. So I came up with one that still isn't good...lol. But maybe if we put our heads together we can come up with a solution.

Problem for me is, in my line of work, I drive one one location to the next and I am at each location for 1 hour to 5 hours at a time. It's not usually conveinet or even a good idea for me to bring my ecig equipment with mine while I'm working so I have to keep my stuff in my car. I already know what I'm going to do this summer, which is keep my ecigs in a zipper case then put the case in a small cooler with a 1 or 2 small ice packs That should keep them cool but not too cool.

Problem is the winter time. Originally I though I had figured it out. Same setup as the summer setup, but instead of using ice packs in the cooler, use those hand warmers that you see that are disposable. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Hot-Stuffies-Hand-Warmers-40-Pairs/33455564

Well, not only would that get expensive to have to buy disposable hand warmers all the time, but they get too hot. The heat rang is 100°F to 130°F. Too hot for the ecigs. Plus, I hear they are not reliable and many don't even work at all.

So I thought maybe an electronic rechargeable variable temp unit would be good. Well, no dice, these things get too hot as well. 106°F or so for the lowest setting. I figure I would need something that would go to about no more than, say 65-70°F ???

This is a big issue to me because leaving ecigs in a car at even 40°F I can notice a big difference in vapor production, TH, and battery life. Anything colder than that and I'm gonna have big issues.

Any suggestions would be great.

I have a friend who is overly .... about heating her grandbaby's bottle ...and carries a bottle warmer gadget with us that plugs into the ciggie lighter...it's a lil pouch thing (*basically a car battery heating pad for whatever drink she puts in it)

I have read for cell phone batteries storing under 32 degrees will start to diminish the life. I generally leave mine in my car for an hour 2 @ 20 degrees or so. What I have found is that the battery is not the culprit in the decreased vapor production. It is the atty device. I may get some degradation in battery life, but to me it is hardly noticeable.

From the battery university

BU-702: How to Store Batteries

Learn about storage temperatures and state-of-charge conditions. Yes it is about storage but wide temp ranges.

The recommended storage temperature for most batteries is 15°C (59°F); the extreme allowable temperature is –40°C to 50°C (–40°C to 122°F) for most chemistries. While lead acid must always be kept at full-charge during storage, nickel- and lithium-based chemistries should be stored at around a 40 percent state-of-charge (SoC). This minimizes age-related capacity loss while keeping the battery operational and allowing for some self-discharge.

Thanks for all the good suggestions. I will have to look into all of these and check the temperature output of these things. The rice heating packs sound like a good option.

I'll have to look into the heated socks, but since hand warmers get over 75 degrees, willing to bet the socks do too.

As for dripping and cases, not really into that, but thanks anyhow. Not for everyone.

As a side note, not even 24 hours since I posted this and almost 450 views. Seems like to me this is possibly a product some people may be wiling to pay for...a heated ecig case or at least a heated pouch you can put the case into that doesn't get over 70-75 degrees or so.
