So all of my equipment consisted of 2 ce4s, 1 iclear 16d, 1 EVOD, 1 IGO-F, and 1 standard 3.7 output 950 mAh battery. So today i was vaping some pb nomnoms from vaporchef out of my igo-f on a 0.86 4 wrap 28g a1 kanthol build and i wasnt getting much vapor and the battery was low, its a passthrough so i plugged it in and tried again, same thing, so i set it down and started searching the forum for a solution, 5 minutes later i picked my ecig up and burned myself, so i quickly unplugged it grabbed some papertowels and unscrewed my atty(which was also burning hot) and my battery is lit red and wreaks of sulfer i cant even wash the sulfer smell off my hands

Long story short my bettery is blown, i feel lucky it didnt explode. So here i am w. 3 attys and 5 juices on hand and no battery.... so idk what to do, ive already subconciously come up with a list of 3 people who i know i could bum an analog from.. what would u do in my position, what should i do xp

.86 ohms on an ego type battery is a no no ..
you killed it quick...

those things I believe are good for the generic pre built coil crowds of 1.2 ohm and higher. Good thing you didn't have a similar battery as a spare, that one would probably have been history also.

You live in Philly.. there should be vape shops close by you..

I would be looking for a local vape shop. There has to be a few near philly. Then maybe order some backups, then some backups for them. When I busted my only battery I ended up building one from parts of my old one and pieces from radio shack. The fact that I know how to solder really helped out a lot and it was only temporary until my replacements got here. I am now kind of obsessive about having backups with me.

Captknots:

That is a great device, MVP2 is better. You cannot sub ohm on those, though. You should read more about this subject AND battery safety. There are plenty of great threads and blogs right here on ECF.

I suggest that you find ECF member "Baditude" and click on his blog posts.

Research is really your friend when it comes to playing around with sub ohms on batteries you don't know anything about. This is NOT a cut/dis to you, I just really do not want you to hurt yourself.

If you really need to sub ohm then get yourself a Mech Mod that can hold 18650 Batteries, a couple of Sony VTC4s 18650 batteries, and some education on what is safe and not.
I have learned through some trial and error that you can get some really great clouds with out sub ohming though. The set up I am using is a Caravela Stainless Steel Clone with an AW 18350 or Purple Efest 18350 battery and a Caterpillar RDA with a single 26 gauge Macro Coil (1/8th inch ID) at 1 ohm with a cotton wick. This thing chucks Vapor and produces excellent flavor and the total set up only cost $55!

i'm also in Philly and we are LOADED with vape shops - there are 4 within three blocks of each other in the South Street area alone... another one in Upper Darby and at least 3 in the Northeast. they are everywhere here, lol.

that being said, i know there are some Walmarts and CVS's and Walgreens that are open 24-7 - run out and get yourself a disposable to get you through one day and go to a B&M tomorrow.

and get two batteries. as you've discovered the hard way :p you never want to be without a backup. :D :vapor:

Hold up a moment.

You will not get the huge Vape you almost did From the VV v3, but it will do just fine for vaping. Just limit any/all coils to a minimum of 1.5ohms. Small tanks(clearos) 1.8-2.8ohm will work just fine.

*Now - why did I say Almost got. Well, your stick batteries are Amp limited and have some built in protection. Your build was sub ohm, but your battery never put out the proper(full) power required to efficient run the coil.

You would be surprised at the difference just swapping from a 10a 18650 to a 30a 18650under specific conditions. :D
