Kensington power and passthroughs

Howdy Folks

I have ordered a Kensington pack Spec sheet and a couple of passthroughs for my 901s. The spec sheet shows that the pack can put out 5vdc (good) at 1500mA.

So is that too much ooomph for a 901 atom? Or should I plan on putting an inline resistor on the cord of my passthrough?

No, it's fine as is. The atomizer will draw about 1A. That you may have 500mA more than needed doesn't matter. It's only the voltage that matters in questions of too much or not.

And while the 5V is more than the 3.6 or 3.7V on standard ecig batteries, all USB passthroughs operate on 5V. And quite a few mods (the magnum, etc) operate with more voltage.
