A young couple were married and then embarked on their honeymoon. When they returned, the bride ran to the phone and called her mother, who asked, "How was your honeymoon, dear?" "Oh, mama!" she replied, "The honeymoon was so wonderful and romantic..." But then, suddenly she burst out crying and said "but, mama, as soon as we returned home, he started using the most horrible language... things I'd never heard before! I mean, all these awful 4-letter words! You've got to come get me and take me home. Please mama!"

"Darling, darling," her mother said, "calm down and tell me, what words could be so awful?" And, the daughter cried "please don't make me tell you, mama! I'm so embarrassed - they're just too awful! Just come and get me, please!"

"Oh, darling, you must tell me what has you so upset... tell me these horrible 4-letter words!" Still sobbing, the bride said, "Oh, mama... words like DUST, WASH, IRON, COOK...!"

1: Post why you came to this wonderful site.

I had no choice. I wanted to learn about ecigs and google kept dumping ecf in front of my face. I'd read until I was satisfied, query something else and back I'd come to ecf. I swear it was a google conspiracy except that I'd look at other suggestions and leave immediately only to be drawn back to the correct answers at ecf. It doesn't matter what the question is, if it concerns vaping, ecf will be somewhere in the results and the best answers will almost always be found... here.

2: Post what made you decide to quit smoking.

I actually liked smoking. I didn't like paying ever increasing prices for cigarettes. In the past couple of years the increase was no longer a simple cost of living increase that you grow to expect - it was price gouging due to irrational taxes (something that would not be allowed by the government if any individual or company was doing it). I decided that it was time to stop supporting the trend and looked at vaping as an alternative. I'd done this before but it was always muddled and expensive and nothing seemed to look very professional. The current market was different and seemed like it might be worth the risk so I pulled the trigger on a starter kit and never looked back.

I wanted to quit smoking for a number of years before I was able to actually do it. After my wife's Mom and my Dad died we both decided to take better care of ourselves so we would be around for each other longer. Quitting smoking was the hardest thing to stop, or so we thought. E-cigs made what could have been a very painful and probably unsuccessful attempt to quit really easy and enjoyable.

I was tired of struggling with my 510. I wanted to quit and I knew I could do it with ecigs I just needed to find the right set-up.
I lurked and found what I needed, after I finally quit and decided it was time to upgrade I knew where to go looking :) This time though I decided to start posting.

2: Post what made you decide to quit smoking.

I decided to start losing weight seeing as I was 300 pounds for the first time in my life. (I am 6 foot 5 inches tall) and I had asked my wife to marry me. I needed to look good for my wedding. Well I was running but my lungs hurt and I wasnt gaining any progress, that is when I knew I needed to stop smoking.

3. What is your current favorite PV set-up?
A: My FAVORITE? haha. HARD question to answer. My current favorite is probably a low resistance cartomizer tank, 1 hole punched with a light 8 to 12mg PG heavy juice. For my battery I like an 18650 for voltage... Fixed volts with the above set-up is my favorite over VariableVoltage although I like a nice VV vape too. My FAVORITE PV that I have with the above set up? Probably my Smoktech Telescopic Mod? Just because its new and shiny and I love the way it looks and feels in my hand. But, I mean, I keep it in 18350 mode and the 18350 battery's voltage drops off pretty quickly. (I could use 18650's in it but I usually use those in my BOLT) So, the BOLT is the PV that gives me my favorite everything for now, but, eventually, my Smoktech Telescopinc Mod is gonna win me over there too.

pack of cigs is $8.xx and i was pretty much smoking based on what was on sale. i wasnt enjoying smoking and the costs was too much. also i dont like how my addiction had me running to the store once or every couple of days and even though a carton is cheaper, the idea of forking out the cash for it really upsets me.

2. I quit smoking because I started at age 11 (just turned 30) and I couldn't stop. Even when I was hospitalized with lung problems and had patches and gum I still wanted a cigarette so bad I couldn't stand it. My pulmonologist told me that trying vaping couldn't hurt, that it wouldn't be near as bad for me as smoking analogs. I went to the convenience store and bought a disposable and thought "hmmm my chest isn't hurting" so I went on-line and purchased an Ego T2. I am hooked and feeling better than I have felt in a long time!
