I know I've asked about Provari's and have reached out to a few of you for advice. I love my Kayfuns, they are just awesome. I want a high-end APV and am/was on the fence for a Provari (don't need a comparo, I have read all the threads and the specs). My question is: is the Semovar as much of a joy to use as the KFL+ is?

You'd have to ask Thunderball, Thrasher or Magic Bill. They all own Semovars... and chances are at least one will come along to tell you how much they love them.
Unlike most other high end VW-VW devices, which use the DNA20 (and now the recently introduced DNA30 chipset), the Semovar uses the Russian designed Nivel chip.
What you might want to do - more so than just the housing - is to research both the Nivel and Evolv DNA20/30... as they are the brains to your APV.
As there are few APVs fit with the Nivel, your choices of housing and battery format are limited... while the DNA chips are being used in a whole slew of mods, with designers climbing over themselves in an effort to bring all sorts of DNA30 chipped APVs to market.
