KFL + Center Post

I have a Ehpro kayfun Lite Plus and the center post and adjustable post have ceased together.

Has anyone had this happen and if so is there a way to get them unceased without damaging them?

I put mine in a vice and pounded the center post out with a nail and hammer. It wasn't easy but it did come out.

All parts which might be damaged by force or impact are available in both clone and genuine svoemesto or Kebo/UCT form.

As escalation of aggression is the preferred process with seized fasteners - so as to produce as little and possibly unrepairable damage to those fasteners - three "genteel" methods to unseize fasteners... prior to resorting to force or impact. ;-)

• First is to use a commercial penetrant, like PB Blaster.
• Second... with a torch (yes, you will destroy the insulator, but the can be inexpensively replaced) heat the positive block to increase the clearance between block threads and air tube threads.
• Third. Obtain a can of compressed air, like that used to clean fragile electronics. You may use this as a stand-alone method, or... you may use it in concert with method 2.
  After heating the positive block, spray the air tube with the very cold, compressed air... increasing the clearance between block threads and air tube threads. (to an even greater degree - not to mention the benefit of thermally induced shock separation)

If none of the above are available... by all means, give it a whack.

Remove the center post.
Place in a cup of boiling water for several minutes.
Remove (careful - HOT METAL) and unscrew the adjusting screw.
You can use Pliers to hold, with a rag protecting the center post from the pliers jaws.

Always set the Post with the adjustment screw removed. Then attach and adjust the screw.

Ok learned something new last night. Found out a positive on the Hcigar 3.1 vs the Ehpro KFL +.

I hadn't taken the base completely apart on the KFL + before (only had for about 3 weeks) and assumed that it had a adjustable positive pin. Therefore I thought there were two seperate pcs.
