Yes I use the full sized top ring and the regular chimney. The standard drip tip still works as the bore is large enough, actually makes it less wiggly. I have also found a few drip tips that have large bores so using the regular chimney is not a problem.

5mm doesn't seem like much, but when I use the beauty ring with it on my ProVaris it actually looks like a kayfun/Provari hybrid. The red is a full sized KFL, the blue a shorty.

Thanks for confirming your setup. Cant wait to try this when I get home on monday.

I am of the same opinion. With the smaller tank the vacuum is stronger due to the reduced volume of air above the juice relative to the volume of juice below that air. I have several EHPRO kayfun lite plus devices and have experienced the burnt/dry hit issue when using a nano drop kit. I noted however that once the juice level is about half way down the chimney tube the issue lessens. Also, thinner juices do not have the problem like higher VG%, which is what I mostly use. So I am currently using the nano with 50/50 juice and use the full size tubes for the high VG% juice. All of my setup are the same @ 1.8ohms.

I should note that even with the thinner juices, I still get the problem when the tank is near full. The only way I found to keep the wicks saturated is to draw on the drip trip (not firing) while blocking the air inlet hole. I remove my finger from the air inlet hole while still drawing and this abrupt change in pressures allows the juice to flow into the atomization chamber. You'll actually see bubbles coming from the juice inlets when you do this. Of course, doing it to much will overfill the chamber and flooding will occur. Simply blowing back into air inlet will cure that. So I'm sold on the vapor lock explanation.

maybe this helps but I've found out that for me if I fill the tank completly full I get dry hits I think it has to do with the inside pressure and the vacuum nas it gets sorted once I get to a certain level of juice, I no longer fill the up entirely

I also tightened up the draw on mine as well. Having the tighter air draw increases the draw vacuum and thus helps to break the vacuum in the tank. Mine still will run dry when they are really full. As Vapero notes the only way to avoid this is to not fill it up entirely, as in only half full for me, or whatever level works with the model you have. Just so I'm not misunderstood, "full" never means "to the top". These things need a certain amount of air over the juice to work. In the full size mode this "gap" is smaller that what is needed in the nano mode.

BTW, the half and half configuration increases the juice volume and thus would not have as much of an issue as the full nano mode. I'm going to try this one myself as I do like the smaller presentation.

It does work pretty well, but the full size chimney top does go up into the top ring quite far. But I think I have a way to resolve that now. Today I got the other one I was expecting, which is a Russian 91% rather than a "Kayfun Lite Plus", and I note that the bottom of the chimney is considerably shorter than the chimney botton in the KFL+; I was thinking if you married the R91's shorter chimney bottom to the KFL+'s chimney top, the height would be just about perfect, for the half-nano.

ohio :-(
I haunted the Sigelei thread for a good while, when I was shopping for my next mod, learning about the Sigelei, and then after I first got it, and one of the "regulars" therein is JeremyR, whom I quizzed unmercifully regarding battery safety -- AFTER reading the article about them in the ECF library. So I bought eFest Hi-Drain batteries, rather that something that costs less and *appears* to offer greater mAh, because I'd really rather be safe than save a few cents or even a few dollars, and my husband (the breadwinner!) agrees with me completely. I keep my two pairs of '350s in their proper pairs, because one set is flat, the other is button, and they are both always charged together and always used together; they are "rested" after charging, usually for about 24 hrs, and I check the voltage of them when I first insert them, throughout their life cycle, and make sure to remove and charge them before they get to "LOW VOL" on the Sigelei's display -- and never ever charge unattended. My face is 53 yrs old and shows it terribly, but I'd still rather keep it where it is, than splattered over the wall, and we just bought this house 2.5 yrs ago, the first one we've EVER bought, so I'm quite fond of it and have no desire to even risk burning it down. Oh, and I have no desire and no intention of EVER sub-ohming, in fact I don't go below 1.5 ohms as it's just too hot for me.

But you just cannot beat the longevity of stacked '350s. I can get 2 or 2 and half days out of them, used that way, and that is just... liberating! :thumb:
