So I just recently bought a kgo. The sales lady was awesome. She sold me a smok dual core cart. My question is how many drops should put in this thing to get me through an 8 hour work day. With my little 2 piece i would puff maybe 3 times an hour(I work in construction). Also with this kgo does it take a couple of puffs to get this thing going. It hit pretty hard in the store yesterday this morning not so much. I charged it for a full 8 hours. Its working for sure but not as good as in the store. I am sure it is user error. Any info would be huge. Thanks

The Smoketech DualCoil Cartomizers can take quite a bit of juice--they take about 50 drops (2.5ml) to fill, and although that might get you through your day, you should probably bring along a bottle of e-liquid to top off if the flavor starts to diminish or a spare cartridge. If the cart gets too low in those, one (or both) of the coils will start to get pretty hot and you'll start tasting the filler material instead of your choice of e-liquid---YUCK!

What method are you using to fill your cartomizers? If you're dripping from the top, I recommend sticking a "cart condom" (the rubber endcaps that come with a new DCC) on the bottom and and either "shake it like a polaroid picture" (what I usually do) or give it a "Taryn Spin" (named after the person who first thought of the atomizer in a lanyard and spinning it) so the liquid will be forced to the bottom. If the top bit of the filler material is white/dry, add a few more drops and repeat the process until it is completely saturated. The other option is the "condom fill" method where you instead drip the liquid into a "cart condom" and then slowly push the cartridge onto the condom allowing the liquid to be drawn up through the hole on the bottom of the cart--once again, you'll probably need to repeat this process a couple times before it gets completely saturated.

Finally, many people have started using "tanks" like the MAP tank (named after its designer, "MostAngryPirate") that go around cartomizers with some sort of hole cut into the bottom--these allow you to fill 3-5+ml and the tank will make sure the carto is constantly being refilled for best performance.

As far as how much you're going to use...? Well that depends, of course, on just how much you vape. Most people use less than 5ml (1 teaspoon) per day, so you might find that one full cartridge will last you a day or longer...but you should still bring "backups for your backups" just in case! ;)

...good advice above...the KGO should hit like a monster with no "primer" puff...with a manual batt, press the button for 1 second before starting your vape...a too wet or too dry carto may be your problem...make sure they are full(slushy looking around the top filler)...not gurgling(too much juice, remove carto and give a little blow on barrel end, wipe threads, reattach and vape)...also advise carrying a little bottle when out and about for a quick top up...you definitely don't want it going dry and scorching on you.............
