Kgo and dual coil carto's

is it ok to use the dual coil carto's on the kgo at 1.5 ohm and 1.25 ohm? I thought i read that you shouldn't use below 2.0 ohm carto's on an ego (which is what the Kgo is a clone of) due to "mosfet" which i have absolutely no idea what mosfet is I am assuming it has something to do with the switch.I guess what is confusing me is the 1.5 ohm cartos are two 3.2's in paralell that come out to be 1.6 ohm but which number am i concerned with the 1.5 or the 3.2? same theory applies to the 1.25's

it might be a noob q but i'm still learnin......thanks in advance

Many of us vapers use both regular LR attys/cartos and the unique dual coils on fat batt batteries, despite the warnings about mosfet. Proceed at your own risk ... realizing that the risk is to the longevity of your battery, not to life and limb; it's not going to blow up on you. I would not use that 1.25 ohm dual coil on a fat batt. That's pushing it, even by my devil-may-care standards.

[I defined 'mosfet' in this post.]

Notice that I referred to the dual coils as unique. Their resistance is not as simple as 1.6 ohms. For example, I prefer them at 3.7V (rather than the eGo's 3.2V, on which a 1.7 ohm single coil hits hard). But I don't think my 3.7V KGO likes them: one of my KGO batteries refuses to work with the dual coils.

All of these LR and dual coil cartos work best on 3.7V mods (at least the ones that can handle 2+ amps current), some of which are no more expensive than an eGo or KGO. For example, my 14650 based NoEgo costs $25. It doesn't include battery or charger, but you can get those elsewhere, e.g., an IMR 14650 for $9 and TR-001 Multifunction Charger (for all 3.7V batts) for $12 from ElectronicStix. Total cost: $46 (plus two shipping charges). MadVapes carries the same charger for $10 and a non-IMR 14650 battery for $6.50.

MadVapes (along with several other suppliers) also carries the virtually identical e-Power as an all-inclusive kit for $46. [I already had the charger and I preferred the appearance of the NoEgo, so I went with that. Someone new to mods might prefer the e-Power.]
