Kgo from Hoosier ecig supply

So when I received the kit, I went ahead and charged the battery for 8hrs before use, then after the 8hrs, I used it for about 20min then charged it again for 3hrs as it stated in the manual.

After the 3hrs I began to vape away lasting me a whopping 6 1/2 days before needing a recharge!!!!!!:thumb:
Unbelievable! The blu premium 100 I had before would last only a day.

You may be wondering how much I vape a day? Since ordering my very own juice from dark city vapor, I decreased my nicotine intake, so now I vape more often than when I had the blu ecig, even my wife picked it up and started vaping with me!

I have no regrets purchasing this kit, and thanks to everyone who contributed help with my noob questions!!!!

How much nicotine did you take in per day with cigarettes?

Erowid Tobacco Vault : Info on Nicotine Content of Cigarette Brands

If you went 6.5 days on a KGO without recharging I must wonder if you had a serious cigarette habit to begin with or if you are smoking along with vaping, which isn't uncommon, at all.

I left analogs 9 months ago, and haven't touched one since. I would smoke camel filters (brown box) 5 cigs per day, a pack every 4 days. At parties, clubs, bbqs I would go through 1-2 packs in couple hrs. So roughly about 3-4 packs per week.

OK, at the most 5 Camel Filter 100's per day is 6.5mg nicotine per day.

I smoked 24mg of Camel Light 99's per day.

At four packs per week that's 60 cigarettes. That works out to 11.0mg per day. Which is it?

Take the average of 8.5mg nic per day. You should be vaping 1ml of 24mg per day or 2ml of 12mg per day. Either way, the KGO with an 1100 mAh battery isn't going to vape more than 2 ml per battery charge for you. You must have cut way down on the nic while vaping the Blu, which is a good thing.

Be very careful using the KGO (or E-Power 14650 for that matter) because these APVs can deliver a lot more nicotine than you were getting per day by smoking or vaping with the Blu. If I were you I'd toss the KGO and stick with the Blu. Or quit nicotine completely while you can with minimal withdrawal symptoms.

I was thinking the same thing as yzer. If I smoked 5 cigarettes a day, I could have quit with anything. Even using a few snus every day, I went from 3 to 2 packs a day.

I don't see how anyone can vape with more than 4mg juice and not take in more nicotine than they'd get with 5 cigs a day. I fear the OP will be growing his nicotine habit. I would suggest he get a lot of 0 nic juice and vape that. Maybe do a little 8 or 12mg now and then if he really has to.

I thought we got less nicotine than with smoking? I'm actually having trouble getting enough and I'm vaping a 24%. (pack a day smoker)

Marib, with vaping, you don't get the immediate hit of nicotine that you get with a cig. It's more gradual. That said, as a 2+ pack a day ex-smoker, I need a few vapes on a 24mg first thing in the morning; then I generally switch to 18mgs. The amount of nicotine you get from vaping depends on the amount in the device and how often you vape.

And this is part of what I find so interesting about vaping...
I smoked 2 packs a day, 40+ year smoker...and I never could handle anything over 12mg nic !
Without trying to, I have had to lower my nic, first went to 10, then 8...now it's 6 & 4.
After the first month I even had to use 0 nic in the evenings...couldn't sleep.
Very odd since I always had that last smoke or two before bed...

We are all different :)

The absorption rate is lower than with smoking, about 30-50% depending on your technique. But you vape more nicotine than you'd get smoking.

A pack of camel 100's would contain 26mg of nicotine. A ml of your juice contains 24mg. If you rate of absorption is 40%, that's 9.6mg/ml. I don't know exactly what the absorption rate is for smoking, but say it's about 80%, or 21mg per pack. So, to absorb as much nicotine as is in a pack of Camels, you'd need to vape a bit over 2ml of 24mg nicotine. Accounting for the fact that vaping doesn't raise your nicotine level as quick as smoking, you might end up overdoing it until you start feeling the effects. But vaping will maintain your nicotine level longer than smoking will.

If you're not getting enough nicotine at 24mg, and you smoked a pack a day, there's something wrong with your equipment, your technique or your juice. Or, you're simply not vaping enough.

I smoked 3 packs a day and quit with 24mg, but I vaped about 3-4ml a day.

BTW, 24mg nicotine juice is 2.4%, not 24%.

I was a pack and a half a day and vape about 3ml or 4ml of 12mg a day. I don't get enough TH if I go under 12mg.

I have serious doubts on whether the full 12mg per ml is actually absorbed. Of course I have no way to test it.

And I can definitely see 6 days of charge on a KGO if a Blu was lasting a full day.

And why quit nicotine? I guess I don't see why we're not congratulating this fellow on his purchase and instead telling him to step back to what he was doing because his smoking habit wasn't nearly as big a deal as our own... That just doesn't seem right to me.

Vaping is a safer alternative, not a cessation method, right?

I am not sure how I could get more nic from a kgo, does it have anything to do with the stock carts & atty that it comes with? I have a few smoketechs single coil cartomizers that i use instead. I have tried juices with upto 20mg of nic from vermont vapor and felt no difference. However, I went down to 12mg, and now I am testing out 6mg nic with an Ego mega cart.
