As you can see I'm not a post ho. I can usually get all the information I need from searching and a lot of reading. As I don't have enough posts to put this thread anywhere else I came here. Also, not enough experience to offer much help or advice.
I started out last July with a KGO kit and it worked well for me, but I wanted more options so I purchased a couple KGO VV's.
All has been good until just recently I thought one of my Vivi's had went bad. Turns out the posts on the batteries are not making contact so the tanks seem dead. I guess they are pushed down or something. I can put a very small ball of tin foil at the end of the tank and the batteries will fire again. Without the tin foil nothing. I read a post by another that was having similar problems, some of his carts or tanks would work others would not. I am guessing his batteries are doing the same thing. I could not post on his thread to leave any info.
I know the tin foil trick is probably not good practice, but until I get a replacement I will just be careful.
Anybody else have similar issues with any kind of batteries and if so any permenet fixes?
I have decided to purchase a ProVari than to chance spending another $50 on the KGO's only to last 3 or 4 months. Hopefully the ProVari will be more reliable and durable. From what I've read they seem to be quality products.
Oh, since starting vaping in July, no cig''s, not one. Really surprised how well vaping has worked. I was a pack a day smoker for 30 years and could not go a day without breaking down are buying more smokes. I gave my original KGO kit to my sister-in-law and she has almost quit smoke too. Now the mother-in-law has a kit and has all but quit also. Just spreading word...
Thanks to everybody who has posted the great info for me to use and put to practice.
