The KGO from Hoosier is my current weapon of choice. I did alot of research before settling on the KGO and from them in particular. One is the color choice... not of the device but of the ring and base. Hoosiers are chrome, not gold. As far as I know all SLB KGO's have 5 click protection but either way, my Hoosier unit does. And finally, the cones... Hoosiers come with larger cones and you can even get the "super big bore cone" from them for just a couple bucks. You can fit a SmokTech xxl through 'em. But cones are easy enough to mod to whatever you are trying to fit. Hoosier is a great little outfit to do business with. Brent, the owner, ships SUPER fast, and is really good about customer service. For less than 50 bucks... you really can't go wrong with a Hoosier KGO kit. For 3.7 volts, these are probably the best pound-for-pound battery out there! IMHO

And, no, in case you were wondering... I am in NO WAY affiliated with Hoosier e-cig... just a very satisfied customer. :)

The only difference I am aware of is that some (Hoosier's+?) have the 5-click off feature whereas mine doesn't (Dark City Vapor). I don't know if there is a way to tell them apart or not short of asking the vendor. I enjoy mine very much, a little more than the Echo.

Most of the ones with the 5 click feature will show it in the description. Sweet-vapes has it. I think most vendors do. It's kind of new, so it depends on how fresh their stock is.

I bought my KGO from Hoosier. It was my first hardware. One of the reason that I like about KGO is that it last me about 3 to 4 days. My KGO color is black; I don't want to be too flashy while I vape in public :p There is nothing I hate about KGO. 5 clicks on/off, sleek design, and it can fit in your pocket without having it to bulge out like Lava (However, after reading about the specs on Lava, I'm considering getting one).

You can't go wrong with KGO.

I have purchased 4 kits (so far) from Hoosiers. Great product at a great price. I don't know how important colors are to you. I purchased the 2 blue and 2 red and you can barely see the logo on either color. I don't like fiddling with things. I'm not the type who cares what volts I'm using. I just want something that is reliable and easy to use. KGO works perfectly for me. I wish I had a video of my first KGO vape after using Safe Cigs for a couple of months hahaha I was astounded. I still am!

They seem to get great reviews, I jut don't like the big red logo on them.
I have the black Kgo from Hoosier. Their logo is barely visible on the black units. I'm not sure how much it shows up on other colors, but on my black ones I didn't even notice the logo until it was mentioned on the forum.

Aside from that, they are a quality vendor, I don't mind brandishing their logo and supporting one of the good guys :D

If the logo bothers you, the one from dark city vapor doesn't have one. I thought there were both advantages and disadvantages to purchasing from them. Their kit includes cartomizers instead of the atomizer/cartridge combination, which isn't good if you want to test juices using the atomizer. I also found that the cartomizers included in the kit did not perform well and had a strange taste and smell. However, the smok tech 1.7 XL (which are the cartomizers that I prefer) are about the same price at Dark City as they are at Hoosier but include a free 5ml of juice, and I really liked the juice that I tried. They also give the option of purchasing additional (good quality) cartomizers with the kit at a reduced price.
