Kick in the chest

To give this a try, I picked up the No. 7 disposable, figured it was the cheapest way to try PV. The problem I have is that when I inhale, the best way to describe it is it feels like a kick to the chest. Not pleasant at all.

I am hoping someone could let me know what they think it is. Or, if this has happened to someone else.

I currently do not smoke analog, but when I have one on occasion I do not have any issues.

I'm assuming this is your first experience with an e-cig... it should not feel like that. I don't know what the problem is, as I'm not familiar with this unit. I assume you don't have any e-juice lying around the house. You may want to try buying some cheap vegetable glycerine and dripping it on the atomizer. Also, have you tried swapping out the cartridge?

Sounds like the cart is burnt. When I first started vaping I bought a cheapo disposable kind "cigalectric" just to see if I liked it. I enjoyed getting some nic, but the taste was awful. I remember thinking "wow this lasts so long", little did I know that I was "dry firing" my carts and prolly inhaling a lil plastic. If I had to guess I would say your having a similar experience haha.

You rarely smoke analogs? What nicotine level did you get in the disposable? It is probably filled with 100% PG juice and and high or even medium nic in all-PG can be very harsh. Nicotine is a skin irritant.

Also -

If it is a 2-piece, you could have singed the cartomizer stuffing if the carto was not well filled

If it is a 3-piece then maybe maybe the atomizer has primer on it though I would not expect a disposable to have primer. Or maybe the atomizer singed the stuffing of the cart.

And another possibility - vapor feels weird and foreign to start, even for heavy smokers.

And BTW - do not buy the real anything-7 model - they are one of many ripoff rebranders

I dont think that anything is burnt, I think that it could just be a couple things, I have let a lot of my friends try my pvs and most people can hardly even handle the hit that it gives them, I think this more has to do with the learning curve that goes along with vaping, it takes a little while of use to get used to how to hit the right way for you specifically. I am pretty sure that there will be no way to replace the cartridge becasue this is a disposable unit and it probably comes permanently attached. Do you know what mg strength it is, becasue another thing could be that there is too much nicotine for you., especially because you are only an occasional smoker. One last thing, maybe try taking a much shorter drag, draw it into your mouth first and then inhale, do not try to inhale the vapor as its coming out of the ecig becasue that can cause the feeling that you describe. Like anything else in life, it takes some time to learn what works for you so experiment with what I said and hopefully that helps. I would also suggest maybe picking up a 510 cartomizer kit instead of the disposable, to get a decent deal you will need to order online but this place is full of reputable vendors, if you need a suggestion just shoot me a pm.
