Hey, all
I've been running down a few options for myself for maximum vapor production and throat hit. Wondering if anyone who's experimented with these options can give me the lowdown. I'm currently running a 3.7v T-Rex 1100 mah with a MAP tank and Bauway CE2s(I think these are far better than the Joyes and other single-wick knockoffs thereof. However, if anyone can recommend a better CE2 than the Bauway, I'm all ears). The tank is extended above the cone, but I don't think that should affect anything.
Here are my thoughts:

1) Replace my CE2 map tank with a stormy tank or a torpedo tank. I hear these have fewer issues with 'spit' and gurgle, as well as dry wicking, hence providing a better hit.

2) Do away with the CE2 concept entirely for home-vaping, and use a 306 with a DCA.

3) Invest in an Ego variable, or really shell out the cash for a provari or similar.

4) Give up, sell my stuff, and get a mod with a 306.

I'm also wondering what juice might have the strongest throat-hit. I'm doing a homebrew 100% pg RY4 + Peach mixture, but it's not really punching me. And I have some tastyvapor Kretek, but I can't stand it. Tastes like my grandmother's perfume. :nah:

Are these the same length as the MAP tank or XL CE2s? If so, then a drill-bit would absolutely make this my best option.

Seems like I've heard of folks using these in tanks, but I haven't tried it...yet. I do have plans involving a syringe tank and an EMDCC though... :2cool:

In terms of juices, are there any that could be characterised as harder-hitting vg/pg proportions and nicotine content (I'm already vaping 36mg) notwithstanding?

Generally speaking the higher nic concentration should...heavy on the word SHOULD...give you more TH.

36mg is the top level for throat hit. Too many people forget that the other part of good throat hit is warmth of the vapor.

If you get a good 5 volt or variable volt model, then you will really be able to have warmer vapor which will help considerably with throat hit. If you get a model with "regulated boost circuit" technology you will be able to have ultimate consistency, also.
