Tanks? Yes please! But first...

I've been doing lots of reading about tank mods. I've got an eGo and it's wonderful. I don't like constant dripping unless I'm sitting at home, and right now my juice of choice is Boba's Bounty, which is a pain to run through cartomizers because it is so thick.

It seems to me there are 2 main styles of tanks. The CE2 tanks (MAP tank, etc) and the cartomizer tanks (J tank, liquinator, etc). From what I've read, the CE2 tanks are notorious for leaking and wicking issues. To be honest, I'm leaning towards a J tank. From the reviews, and the price point, it looks like a solid buy. I would also have no problem with slotting my own carto's for the tank.

Thoughts? Is there something better out there I missed? Just want to get some input before I pull the trigger on a J tank.

Cartomizers on their own last me all day at work or all night at home...and they are cheap. I guess some people need 3 to 5ml in a tank...but not me.

Over the last couple days, I watched a few of GeekGirlVaper's videos on youtube. I was coming to the same conclusion as you on the J tank and figured the notch or hole was something anyone could do too. Some of the other tanks are cool but big bucks.

They easiest thing to do is order a $5 automatic center punch off of Amazon and it will take you all of about 20 seconds to punch a carto, it works great.

I have 2 liquinators and 1 J-Tank, and several CE2 Map tanks of various Ohms..I also use dual coil carts, Boba or Gorilla juice burn well in the dual coil carts, if they are a bit thick, add a little PG or 10 to 15 drops of everclear or Vodka to thin it just a bit, either way you roll each has its place and each works well, another option for you is a bottom feeder, like a Monkey box or if you dont like a bigger mod, a Phidius is small and works well enough to give you all day vapeing without dripping..check out my pics on my profile and look at some of the mods...

i have 2 that i'm using right new and after 2 weeks they are both still working great and no leaks. not bad for 7 bucks

HI, you may want to change ur tank, as in the refillable plastic. I noticed that tanks from different suppliers tend to have different pulls. The tanks i got from China were a bit difficult to pull, while those i got from totallywicked.com seemed easier to pull.
