Kick2 doesnt fit in Turtle Ship

I just got an authentic Turtle Ship V3 and my kick2 doesn't fit flush with either an 18650 or 18350 (both Efest flat tops) even with the kick tube extension. (Unfortunately I don't have an 18490/500 to test it with that.)

This is hard to believe given that it's designed for a kick. This is even without screwing on my Russian 91% which would push out the floating center pin.

I'm concerned that I was sold a counterfeit. Is there anything else that I could be overlooking or is there anyone with any experience with this? I don't know if I should be ...... at my vape shop for cheating me, RJ mods for poor engineering, or myself for being dumb. Hopefully it's the last.

Sometimes kicks can be very very tricky to put in. Are you certain it does not fit.? I know my kick takes some careful finesse it get it placed correctly. Before you give up it wouldn't hurt to see if their is a video on how to place a kick. Just to make certain you tried all options. Because they can be pretty tricky to place. At least mine was. Yeah I've tried every which way I can think of (except upside down) and paid attention to the threads to make sure it wasn't getting caught up on them. It's really frustrating. Not that I can't vape without it but now that it doesn't work I'm determined to figure it out

I always check the diameter and length of mech mods and toppers anymore. A lot of people like the 18490/18500 size so some are designed that way. I learned the hard way when a lot of my batteries were too big at first. I always try to get the 3 tube setups that way just about any I have will fit.

I got the turtle ship because it comes with three tubes! Frustrating. I ran out to my local shop, which otherwise is a no go (someone please open up a halfway decent shop in northern va with employees that like people please, thanks. /rant) and picked up an 18490. With the 18650 tube it works kicked. I've scratched the itch. Haha otherwise this mech is amazing. Thanks for the help.

The main problem is that the kick is a 17mm device designed to fit in a 15mm space. There are a lot of mods that don't fit a kick without showing a little threading on the switch or top cap. This is probably the reason that the Nemesis comes with that 2mm beauty ring. My Chi You clone has that problem with both 18350's and 18490's and only works with 18650's when I remove the battery adjustment screw. For effective kick use I always recommend a Nemesis or a telescoping mod.
