I have a chi you clone and the kick2 springs don't come out far enough for it to makess cure contact with the inner diameter of my tube. I'm using the largest tube setup and using 18500 button top battery. But the kick 2 is barely held in place and often slides up and down the tube. Anyone else experienced this? Thanks

Yep, same thing happened to me with my Chi clone....my only remedy I could think of was to create sort of a "shim" with a folded up piece of paper....I used a post-it note and folded it up, then stuck it to the back of the kick....this helped to make better contact with the 2 negative posts on the Kick, and kept it from rattling around.....give it a try!!

I had exactly the same problem, but I solved it completely: as someone suggested, take an old credit card (or any other plastic card) and cut from it U-form piece of size about 1.5x1 cm. first insert is into the tube, and with your finger press it in the center, to create round form. After that insert kick module, and from top of it insert the plastic in the gap between kick and the tube.
I have kick 1, but I'm sure it will work with v2 as we'll.

Is the Chi You 23mm ?

Usually descriptions mention outer diameter of the tube (mod), which is not related to kick. Kick module needs specific inner diameter of the tube. For example in my Chi You clone all 3 tubes have different inner diameter in the ends appropriate for Kick. Shortest tube fits Kick perfectly, other tubes have larger inner diameter, so they need this piece of plastic.

Your right ... I mentioned the 21, 22 and 23mm variations of the different tube mods.

As you folks stated, it's the inside diameter that's important as to whether or not a Kick will fit in there .... I just supposed that a 22mm tube would more than likely have a smaller inside diameter than a 23mm tube.

I figured that all these tubes were basically about the same as far as the wall thickness. That's why when it was mentioned that the Kick fits real loose in the Chi You, I figured that the Chi You was more than likely a 23mm clone.
