Welll....the series got expanded for another while.....don't know how long, it depends on the techs at SS1...I think the second one forgot to give me pertinent info on his phone call...such as Waiting for Kodi to install first...which i didn't know. So ANOTHER tech is gonna call me tonight at 7:00 p.m.
And i WILL inform him that he needs to treat me as tho I'm a 5 yr. old mentally challenged person...

Yeah Manny really knows his stuff about these he programmed them. The tech that you talked to before was he at SS or Elite mods? Manny works for Elite mods which is why I tld you to get it from them which you did. They have a different tech support # and you'll get the help you need better from them.
It sounds like the guy just got you hooked to the internet and left the rest up to you. You have to update the updater then do a fresh install which will install Kodi when it is finished you have to let kodi populate and update all the addons. The process they say will take up to 10 min. Then you will close kodi correctly which entails going to the blue button on the bottome left of the screen click that EXIT will come up you click OK and wait for it to close and take you back to the opening screen. This process couldn't have been done in a couple of minutes. Which is why I was thinking when you said that this guy just got you hooked up and thats about it. Manny will take you through the whole process.
No it's not installed but they have their own updater that takes care of all that including the latest tweaks and addons that are working correctly now. It's just a matter of 1 click for the updater when that is done you got to it and choose Adult or Family Friendly not everyone wants the porn and click install an it does the rest.Ok. So youi buy a kodi box and kodi is not installed on it? Sure. Makes perfect sense. My hed hertz again.
It is a different kind of box that people just starting out get a head start on using it. I would have had a lot more problems if I would've gotten a box like yours Gary from the start. Now I wouldn't be afraid to get one like that and start from scratch. I at least have a basic understanding now. How many years have you been using an android box pplus your background in computers which makes a big difference.
I wouldn't expect you to jump in the engineers seat of a train a take it 200 miles without knowing what you are doing. I still don't have the understanding of how these work like you do but I have a basic knowledge of it.

How long have you been using Kodi. You are the one that got me interested in it which I am so grateful for but I had never even heard of Kodi before 4 months ago.
I guess thats what I'm saying you have a lot better understanding of how Kodi works. 4 months ago I knew how to plug in the roku connect to the internet and start streeaming what they had to offer that's it.

You could've fooled me. I put it on my computer first as you suggested and installed Kodi and Exodus and tried it out and I liked it but I still really didn't know anything other then I could watch movies that weren't available on Netflix or Amazon which I thought was great. If I would've gotten a bare bones box fome there I would've gone to the first crackpot on You Tube and installed what they said is the latest and greatest build there was without knowing that some actually know something and others are like reviewers if you don't know which one you can trust and just buy something because one guy says it works great you'll be disappointed.
Yeah 1 channel works great, I am a real fan of Exodus, Specto 2nd, Zen is also good and a few of the others have different stuff I like to watch occasionally. I have yet to try Fanfilm which I heard was good too. Seems like quite a few like Bob, there are quite afew that I have yet to try but will one of these days.n Don't worry. You are not alone. Kodi comes with a bunch of stuff by itself. But it could be tricky installing addons. The "not supported" addons have to be added manually.
On da udder hand... even the $29.95 boxes come with exodus (not supported!!!) and some others so they're basically plug n play. U can add more but for the novice... why?
And yes, trak seems dangerous to me. Could be paranoia but I'm not comfy with someone else tracking everything I do. Especially since streaming is legal today, but tomorrow it may not be. And they have your info logged. (defeats the purpose of a vpn) So, one subpoena and yer in deep do-do!

What is Danish TV Live, who puts it out, the addon that is like Fanfilm is Mr.Know something like that. I have a bunch that are not installed but are there under more addons but you need to know I think what or who puts it out and go there and install it. Why would you be in deep do do Gary if it is legal to stream. All I have to do is do a fresh install and if I don't authorize it in Kodi and Exodus separately it does nothing as far as I know. I still have the acct but they don't do anything in the addons anymore. Sort of the way Real Debrid works. I think they are too busy trying to figure out if Obama bugged Trump Tower. Ha

As far as tracking what you do, I'm not really sure how that works but you can track what you do yourself. Just take a series or show or whatever you want to watch and add to favorites. They will show up there. Can't check them to "watched" but everything you want to watch is there.
