Just when you thought Trump couldn't do anything more stupid he invites 2 Russian Government people into the Oval Office and tells them classified information. How long is it going to take for this totally ridiculous government to say enough is enough this guy needs to go. The Republicans are starting to worry that he is going to ruin their chance at being re elected to their Kushy jobs at the mid terms, they don't want that. Just had to put that rant out there. Fires the FBI director more then likely because he is getting to close to seeing what connections Trump actually has with the Russians.

My dad's wife is from Russia, left the country before I was born while she was preggers with my half-brother, they came back when I was in 3rd grade and that's when I met & found out about them... I don't necessarily keep track of the circus that's going on the other side of the river but whenever I ask her about it she refuses to speak about it or changes the subject. sketchy lol.

I literally work next door to the Martinsville Speedway, I could see the track if I climbed up on the roof, but I would just as soon watch paint dry. When the race comes to town I head the other direction.

But at the same time if you put on some semi-cheesy sci-fi thing like outer limits or x files or Battlestar Galactica or anything stargate I can probably watch that for hours if I had the time.

I'm on the last episode of Travelers on Netflix. Not cheesy but good sci-fi.
Legion on FX had me battling between WTH? & whoa, that was cool

With everything that's happening in the UK, I'm wondering if something is going on? I seen high-end box prices drop drastically in the last few weeks. Streamsmart is $200 off this month, thats about half price. That's right off their website not a knock off. Even unsupported well equipped receivers are less than a $100. It's like when everyone was dumping the obsolete 1gb slower chip boxes. Having worked in the satellite industry for many years, the summer months were the slowest for new customers. So that is when the biggest promos were available, could that be happening with the streaming receivers also?

Well the streamsmart thing I can understand, they're literally helping people step by step with stealing copywritten material, and if the US decides to go the way UK is going, there's no way they can legally stay in business. tbh idk how they still are & I really don't like them bc it has brought a lot of heat down on the whole thing. Rn the UK is focusing on kodi but completely ignoring all of the many other apk's and forks, (there's even one that uses vlc). So they're still pretty clueless. That will change though.

The boxes though, it's funny people refer of them as "kodi boxes" like that's the only thing it's for, but like my Nvidia boxes I hardly use kodi at all I use shadowplay to stream games onto my TV from gaming rig and Netflix if I'm watching TV.

We've actually got an Nvidia box on every TV now bc we love them so much, I used wall mounted brackets to hide them behind the TV's, which are also mounted on the wall. The cool part is I can access my steam account from and play any game I have on my gaming rig, from any tv in the house now. Just now I was playing mass effect andromeda on the kitchen TV while cooking bacon & eggs.

It runs at a lower fps but it's still higher than a xbox or ps, for example most games hover right around 60fps. You need to have decent router though and esp. a good gaming rig bc any dips or stuttering is extremely noticeable in shadow play.

The remote access trojan has been around for a long while now, it's just only now media is picking up on it. mostly the subtitles site that starts with "O" is ok bc they vet their stuff and make you use a membership. But something can still slip through potentially. I've got a nice little surprise waiting though which will try to write zero's to their boot drive if someone were to get through my firewall & vpn.

At least I didn't have to go to da Window's store fer da 17.2 upgrade. Tried last week to upgrade to 17.1 and I couldn't due to lack of my W10 updates... KMFA MS!

Yeah I still use kodi in windows on my htpc/steam box/plex server, using the windows store one creates a separate profile that's apparently different from the regular one, so i had to combine both userdata's and now I just use .exe from site.

I am excited:

In July, I am going to register an LLC with the state just so I can get fiber to my home. The city will only offer it to genuine businesses, but an LLC counts.

I am in the with the City IT "click" that runs/manages the cities fiber, and I know they dont do any throttling/filtering/ logging beyond the billing necessitates. They get their bandwidth from "Lumos" which "seems" ok as far as I can tell.

Really looking forward to that, I am so sick and tired of ComFart......

Plus.... having a legitimate business could open some wholesale doors that I never could get past before.
