It's dead. You can't replace the LiPo battery in an iStick. This is one of the cons of using a mod that uses internal LiPo batteries.

Exactly. I've done it. From that experience I'll say, those 18650s that come stock in an istick are labelled as being rated at 15A. Personally, I don't trust em even for that. Don't get me wrong, the chip & the overall quality otherwise seems great, my 50 is now running sammy 25r's and I love the thing. But much as I loved the istick 30W, after seeing those LiPos, I'll never again recommend even the 50W much less their new 100W, at least not unless they come out with a "proven" upgrade to better internal batteries. Too few people can fix an issue that no manufacturer should knowingly cause in the first place. (I mean really, how would any actual vaper really get up to 50W without exceeding 15A draw anyway? Who actually runs a +ohm coil at anything close to 8V?)Actually you "can" replace the batteries in an iStick 50W, but you had better be good at soldering and be comfortable working with electronics and batteries. It may be using Lipos, but they are 18650 batteries and you can replace them with IMRs. The problem is you'll have to solder the wires directly to the battery terminals, as well as unsolder the wires from the existing Lipos. It can be quite dangerous if you don't know what you're doing.
By far the best response for the question. Lol. Let's put it this way, after doing it on mine, I won't be doing it again. When the sammys reach the end of their life cycle, the mod will almost certainly end its as wellIt's dead. You can't replace the LiPo battery in an iStick. Dude, that's pretty impressive. I work at a vape shop and I haven't seen any iSticks come back shorted like that. I mean, they've come back, but not for that.
Nooo I did not realize that!! LOL well that's definitely a fix, right there!!! Go eLeafYou do realize that the new iStick 100W uses replaceable batteries, right? It doesn't come with any batteries at all, you have to provide your own.
check out the IPV4 ....![]()
Methinks you will like it a lot, especially compared to an iStick. I love mineWas going to roll with an IPV4, went for the snow wolf in the end though, haven't had a chance to use it yet, but am optimistic!
