I just noticed the other day that after I vape with it, the battery level icon on the OLED screen changes briefly to some round icon for about a second or so before it changes back to the battery icon and I am not sure what it is. The round icon is on the screen when the display shows the amount of seconds that you were vaping, so I think the icon is supposed to represent a vapor cloud? Am I correct?

That's a "timer" that shows you how long of a draw you've taken. You should get some "number S" indicating number of seconds....

I'm still trying to get the hang of using the iStick 50 and what power settings I should be using. I use a mix of 50% Halo Subzero and 50% of honeydew flavored juice. I don't know what the Halo ratio is, but the honeydew is 80% PG/ 20% VG. When I vape this mixture in my Halo Triton tank using the Halo Triton batteries I get the distinct taste of honeydew and it produces quite a bit of vapor. On the iStick, I have tried using a Kanger Geni mini (1.8 ohm coil), a Kanger Protank 2 mini (2.5 ohm coil), and a Kanger Protank 3 (1.8 ohm coil) and the Kanger Subtank Mini (1.2 ohm coil). On all of the Kangers except for the Subtank, I keep the wattage below 10 watts. Anything higher and I get a burnt taste. However, even going down all the way to 5 watts, I don't taste the honeydew at all. With the Subtank, I don't get the taste either, and I have tried wattage all the way up to 20 watts. I'm not sure if I am using this right.

The lack of the flavor has to be your tanks (or something with the juice)because power is just power. Its possible you burned the wicks in them since you said you got a burnt taste. Try fresh coils and start at low settings and then increase. Be sure.the coils are fully primed

I'm wondering if it is because of the bottom wick coils. I have tried switching out the coils, doing some unpowered draws, and letting them sit for 30 minutes. The Triton tanks are top wick coils and I have also tried a T4 cartomizer with the top wick coils and the taste is different.

I say the tanks are not performing like the Tritons (not familiar with those). I would think the ST Mini would do well in flavor though. Ive never used top wick coils

Yes sounds like your burnt problem is the coils because when I got my Kanger mini I used it for about an hour on 30w and it burned so I changed it out all new everything and I currently am running at 20w just fine

I'm waiting on my iStick 50w in the mail right now. I ordered from MyVaporStore as well since everyone raved about their shipping time. I ordered Sunday (4/26) and the estimated delivery is this Friday (5/1), so it's much better than I'm used to, seeing as how I normally use FastTech (lol, right?). I managed to grab it for $50.27 after shipping. For anyone who might be curious, that 5 day shipping time is from their office in NY to southern Alabama. I was using an MVP 2.0 and liked it a lot, but one too many drops and the base of my Nautilus wouldn't thread onto it, so I tried and tried but could not get anything threading into that 510. I began using my Nautilus (with new base hardware from evape.us - awesome transaction by the way) with my Stingray mechanical. For one thing, I am beyond sick with changing batteries. My mech was used for .2+ ohm builds on my Tobh, but I HATE the way mechs operate with prebuilts. They work as intended, but once the voltage drops below 4.1, it hits like a toy truck around 8-9 watts and I'm having to hit it for 10 seconds+ to get satisfactory vapor.

I'm really hoping this iStick solves all of my current issues (no battery swapping numerous times per day and being able to vape with consistent results). I went with the pack and bought it on blind faith based on comments in ECF and Reddit. I will post a reply with my thoughts once I receive it and have some time to put it to use.

anything more than 20w on the nautilus is gonna burn through coils quick. i use my mutation x v2 on my 50w istick. running a .3 build at 48w.
I run a mutation x v3 dual coil 0.2 ohm @ 42.0w on my istick 50w. It worked awesome for little over a month. Now it kicks off at 3 seconds or so with "power low" warning on a full charge. I loved thus box until it started this annoying habit. Word from my retailer is I'm putting to much load on the unit and I should build higher ohm coils. I bought this specifically for sub ohm builds. It worked fine until now so they are basically blowing smoke. Looks like it's time to upgrade.
