There is a slim-tank, see mad vapes..

Guys, it would help folks following this thread if you actually posted links..

ST Terminator bodies: MV
ST Terminator extensions: VapingCraze
ST Terminator ceramics: Diver Cups
....................................Cheapest CE2's
ST Terminator Slim: MV
ST Terminator Fat: MV

I don't really like the look of a bigger tank on an ego so I am in a tough position. Wish there was either a slim locking tank or a slim tank with a full port I could confirm works with the terminator.

i agree. a big tank on an ego is not my preferred look either. but at the same time, i gave a term to my brother who only uses egos and hes used to the look already. it doesnt look too bad when you use a thread sleeve. not the flared one- just the straight thread sleeve looks better. if it were me, id consider a tube mod. you can get a china mech for less than $20. personally, ive been eyeballing that sentinal clone.

Actually, I was looking for a 18350 ego-t mod before I found the terminator in a slim tank. The 18350 mods are actually a little shorter than what I use now so I dont think I would mind, but at the moment i'm really happy with my setup with an ego-c upgrade passthru. Next step is a ego-c twist to see what the hype about vv is about. Then after that i'll probably look into a nice mod setup for home/vacation.

I'm not familiar with the huge variety of tanks, so what is a "thread sleeve"?

Links to such, bitte.

Here's some from GV. If you put some tanks on an ego battery, the outer threads will be exposed and doesn't look so great. the thread covers fix this and add a streamlined look.

Got an agr tank for one of my terms. This thing rocks. It's solid as a rock, zero wobble. And the feeding is superior. Unscrewing the fill hole allows necessary air flow. Half the time I don't even need the juice control open at all. I just open it up to let juice flow in and so much flies in that I can close it for a dozen or so vapes. This is the tank that should be sold with the term. Once you use this you'll see what I mean. If only there was a glass option.
I also got an x8 (locking carto tank with much slimmer bottom cap) but the tube is too short for a term. Does anyone know of any tanks (glass or otherwise) that fit on the x8 end caps? myvaporstore has plastic tubes and better plastic (polypro) tubes. i hope one of them fits the x8 end caps.

I skimmed through the thread and couldn't find a similar post, thus:

I could never get a good performance out of this atty out of the box. So couple of days ago I have converted mine into a Diver-wannabe.

- Sealed the bottom of the center piece (cup holder).
- Drilled the bubble cap right above where it screws onto the cup holder.
- Wrapped the ceramic cup with some ss mesh (unoxidized) before screwing the cap on.

The way I use it:
- A microcoil ~1.9 ohms. Cotton
- Everything is screwed in tightly, no juice control, no adjustments
- Using inside an AGR, easy to fill.

This is the first time I can use it without leaking/dry hits. I have 3-4 wraps around the cup (this acts as the 'juice membrane', to limit feed and keep the coil wet) and two holes on the cap. I am sure it can be fine tuned for how much wrapping to use, number and location of the holes, etc, YMMV.

Just wanted to throw this out in case someone wanted to give it a try.

AGR carto tank is probably one of the best for smoktech terminator.

I also have the X8, although I haven't used it on tt yet, I looks like it should fit. Besides people were reporting use of it earlier in this thread. (an earlier post).

I've read that post about someone using the x8 with a tt, and the tt does just barely fit. But the cap seals against the o-ring rather than the cap fully seating properly. That's too weak for my needs, plus it wouldn't hold enough juice. Personally, the large tanks are a must. To get my x8 caps on a big tank, I might have to go whole hog and bite the ibtanked bullet- the minimum order for custom tubes is three.

I like what you did with your tt- sounds like it works nicely. Personally, I'm pleased with the agr. So much so that I haven't even used my original tt or ibtanked tt.

I know there has been a lot of discussion on rebuilding the terminator and sourcing required parts (ie ceramic cup) - but I did stumble across a good sale at vapelite - in their clearance section they are selling a terminator (small tank) with six (6) additional atomizers for ten bucks. you only get one (1) of the 510 extensions but you wind up with 7 atomizers for the price - just in case anyone is looking for some inexpensive replacements.

Got a Killer yesterday so I can compare the two.
They're both pretty much the same thing ultimately - juice control on the adapter, the same CE2 ceramic.

They perform identically but the ceramics are a swine to remove on the Smok, therefore lousy for rebuilding but it is still possible.
The chrome plate comes off the "bell" after a short time with the Smok - this exposes brass (or whatever it is) but the Smok is great as a throwaway item.

If you're into the rebuilding aspect then get a 705 - don't bother with the Smok.

The Killer has also been cloned by the same folks who have copied the Kayfun 3.1 - their version of the Killer is absolutely identical in every respect - these will be doing the rounds soon enough and they'll be a lot cheaper, the Killer is an awesome device but it's pricing is absolutely ridiculous.

I sanded the outside of the Terminator's center pin a bit and it is now much easier to remove ceramics. I personally don't think it's any different from rebuilding the Killer (in fact, I believe that the nest is bigger than that of the Killer). The construction and materials are indeed sub-par (certainly compared to the Killer) but it vapes really well and is definitely a good bang for the buck IMO. I would definitely recommend one for someone who is new and interested in getting in to submersible rebuildable atomizers.

I found the ceramic easy to remove, but yeah: I knew it had to be garbage plated metal.

I'l need to stalk a co-op or supplier for the Killer: I don't really *need* one, but they are just dead handy.

i also found the ceramic easy to remove. once the wire is pulled out successfully, the ceramic was a breeze. the wire was harder to pul out than th ceramic. but even that wasnt hard. i just wiggled the ceramic, which loosened the wire enough and viola.

it is depressing however to hear that the chrome plating has worn off. mine hasnt, but i wont be surprised if it does. but i do have five of the things, so i guess once it does, i'll just use a new one.

Yes. It's an extremely good value for someone to learn on. It's also a pretty good vape.

That said, it realy needs a larger tank, perhaps made a bit better.

i really like the vape from mine. outstanding imo. i agree- the tank does need to be better tho. it should be sold with the AGR tank. or better yet- a glass version of an AGR (which doesnt actually exist, AFAIK).
one hting i notice is that it needs to be rebuilt kinda often. im used to gennys w/ ss wicks. they last so much longer and once you factor in the dry-burning its really a dramatic difference in longevity.

Well, yeah.. I did say 'learn on' hehe ;-)

Mind you, I am fighting a terminator-c setup now, (the TT made me decide to take the leap, and the Naughtyfun/kayminator core sealed that deal). Silica simply doesn't wick like mesh, and the taste is somewhat different.

This killer-clone (TT) is worth every penny for a decent, repairable, reliable vape - the learning curve and experience is also decent.

So I just got my TT in the mail. I rinsed it out gave it a dry burn filled the tank without issue with some thug juice. But all I can taste is menthol and a burnt taste. I have tried unscrewing until I see threads and the atty won't even flood. Is there something I am doing wrong? the coil is 2.3 ohm and I'm vaping at 4.0v. Also is there an easy way to remove the tank from my pv without pulling the tank apart?
