So I found my long tube for my AGR, and put the killer clone in there. Works great! I'm curious how the cloned differs from the real killer, because in the killer thread a few people were saying that it didn't work with the AGR, yet the clone works great with it, better than a regular carto tank in fact.

There are a few reasons for this:

#1, With the other carto tanks I tried this in, if you open the juice control the entire tank gets wobbly. This is because most tanks are completely supported by the carto itself. When the top half of the killer clone is opened up for juice flow, it wobbles. Since the top of the carto tank is supported by the carto (or killer clone in this case) when it wobbles, so does the entire tank. How tight the bottom cap of the tank fits against the carto will determine how much wobble of the tank there is. With the stock tank it wasn't too bad, with the IBtank I tried it in it was very wobbly because IBtanks have beefy orings which allow a bit more play. With the AGR, the tank is tightly secured when the locking base is screwed into the killer clone. Because of this, it doesn't matter how far you open the juice control, the tank is very solid. Since the AGR's seal against the killer clone is so loose, it allows screwing/unscrewing of the juice control without much effort at all.

#2, since the AGR has the little fill port on the top, it's much easier to refill. I figured out how to refill the stock tank without removing the endcap, all you have to do is remove the 510-510 connector that's screwed onto the base of the killer clone (KC from now on) push the KC up a bit, and you can refill the tank through the bottom just like you would a normal carto tank. But, it's difficult to unscrew the 510-510 connector without the juice control opening up, since they are both threaded the same way you can't really control which one you are unscrewing. But with the AGR you don't even need to remove the tank from your PV to fill it.

Although, it is a HUGE setup. The locking base adds some height, and the KC is already pretty damn long. Overall (with shorty drip tip) it's nearly the height of a 900mAh eGo battery. On top of a Vamo in 18650 configuration I feel like I'm holding a nightstick heh heh.

I'm even more happy with the KC now after putting it in an AGR. Please please please please someone else get this in stock, I'm sure I'm not the only one planning on ordering a bunch more.

Now.... I wonder if I can fit a hybrid wick with a sub-ohm 28ga coil in there,

I bought 1 of these when madvapes released this. I really enjoy the terminator and can't get enough of it. It does have its negatives but the production in my opinion outweighs those negatives.

I am a newbie in the vaping world, I mainly use clearomizers and sometimes cartomizers. With my vaping technique I have constant burning of my liquids in the clearomizers and wanted an answer to my problems without changing my technique. The only other tank I have tried is the Kanger T3 and found it too airy, lack of flavor and lots of gurgling. I found the answer with the Terminator!

However I need some help and if someone is willing and able to point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

First, has anyone found any other online stores that sell this tank? Madvapes is sold out and I'm hoping they restock.

Second, as I said before I am a complete newb, this is my second tank and I do not know how to recoil or what wicks to buy, does anyone have any links that I could use to help me learn the skills necessary to apply on rebuilding my Terminator?

Any help will be appreciated and even a link to another topic that has a bigger discussion of this Terminator (tried searching but I guess there is another terminator product) that has the information I need would also help. Thanks.

Just read the Killer 705 thread, all the same concepts apply.

Rebuild starts @ 6m45s

NR wire isn't absolutely necessary but you'll be wasting heat if you don't use it.

Silica or cotton are easiest to build with - if you use strips of cotton make-up pad (peel a layer off and cut a strip about 2mm wide and 2-3cm long) it's the easiest to rewick without having to build the coil again.

The top tube part is definitely Stainless steel, most likely they use the same stock they use for SS cartos. But the bulb part does appear to be made of some kind of plated material.

Out of curiosity, how do you plan to make this into a bottom feeder?

Not "make it into a bottomfeeder", but use it ON a bottomfeeder. A bottomfed boxmod like the REOs.

No I understood what you meant, I just was curious how you planned to use it on a bottom feeder. It seems like it would be a hassle to bottom feed it, but then I realized there was a 510-510 connector on the base of the killer clone, I had first thought it was an integral part of the atty, and would interfere with using it as a bottom feeder. Just me being absent minded, pay no attention ;)

Hey guys I am looking over the killer thread as we speak and watching videos on making the coil and plan on buying my supplies this weekend, however I am wanting to know if there are any sites that sell pre-made coil and wicks that I can buy so I have something physical to compare to since I will be a first timer. I need to have something to feel and hold and I do not want to mess with my coil/wick that I am using in my tank.

I haven't been able to find any so far and if the sites out there do not sell them pre-made then no biggie, the youtube video of the guy that was provided to me said once you get the hang of it then it is easy. So that is something to look forward to. Thanks.

Here you go: the first link has non resistance leads the seconds is for a standard drippier atty. Not sure what one your looking for

Got it setup with 2mm wick, 30AWG kanthal @ 1.7Ω in a 19mm XL IBTank. Still playing around to get it to feed just right. Can't wait for my original Killer to show up in the mail to do comparisons.

Aoi, have you mastered the feed? hows the term working in your IBTanks?

Am I missing something?

Wider tube = more flavour
Thinner walls = warmer vape because the walls aren't soaking up the heat the way they do on BCCs.

Kanger, take note - a 22mm clearo with a carto-width inner tube (thin walls and all) would sell spectacularly well!
Edit: and STOP using that stupid proprietary mouthpiece!

Seems like this would vape exactly like a T3. Juice on outside of tube, fed to short little wicks and vape goes up the middle. I guess being able to turn the post and choke or flood the wick is something you can't do with a T3. Am I missing something?

Well, that's basically it. But with the larger area in the Killer clone you can expand the amount of wick and coiling options you want to do, so it's more like a regular RDA in that manner.

In addition to that, it fits carto-tanks, which is the main draw as far as I'm concerned. I'm sure many of us have quite a few carto-tanks that we have invested money into, and like how they look and/or function, but have gotten into rebuildables and would prefer the same form factor of a carto-tank, but with performance more closely matching RDAs than cartotanks or clearos.

I'm sure some people have other specific reasons why they would prefer this type of set-up but those are mine.

you pretty much just posted about why i bought one and wanted a killer......because i won't take my rba's out and about with me, they leak too much but my tanks work flawlessly, if i could get better flavor and vapor like an rba would give i'd be thrilled, hopefully this is all i hope it to be
