Sweet-vapes.com has the e-power for the best price arround, get the ego e-power and you'll be ready to drip on a big battery with around $60 left for juice, a couple atties and a drip tip.

Ego E-Power Kit

After investigating all of the fantastic tips received here, I finally settled on this ^ suggestion! Sounded like it was right up my alley! Thanks ever-so-much!

Got my 18650 E-Power kit today, and am totally pleased to report that I'm back in vaping heaven! Thanks, you guys&gals!

Along with the unit itself and two batts inside a convenient case (& also, a charger), came a 5-pack of cartomizers (+3 thrown in as gifts from vendor!); I also received a de-bridged atty/drip-tip, and ~40 ml of juices. Great way to re-start this gig for $73 total, I'd say!

For those familiar with Ego-style units, this one is just... well... a "pregnant" version of it. It is institutional-looking, insofar as being all chrome -- but I've already decorated it [no, not bedazzled, just decorated it] by resurfacing it with some colorful tapes I have. (Note: I haven't ruled out bedazzling it someday. lol)

The batteries took exactly 2 hours to fully charge. I had read some horror-stories about taking 8 hours, so that was a very-pleasant surprise for my impatient sort.

The difference between vaping this unit from other units like the Joye Minis/Egos is palpable. And heavenly!

Thanks for ALL the great tips each one of you provided me here! In the end, I went with what my pocketbook dictated my desire-for-power could afford. I'm satisfied with the compromise, and ever-so-glad to get those stinky/choking cigs out of my life again!

THANK YOU, EVERYONE HERE AT E-CIG FORUM!!! So glad I'm back with y'all!

P.S. My daughter is coming to visit for the weekend. Bet she'll be jealous of my new honker! hahaha! (And she better not be smoking cigs, I tell ya!!!) :2cool:

Thanks for the report. I'm glad to hear it. The e-Power is my first recommendation for moving up to a proper PV. you got the honkin big one for sure and were smart to get a drippin atty with it. Don't get too comfy with that 2 hour charge time though. They were pretty charged up when you got them. The good news is they last so long that one will be charged up in plenty of time before the other one drains down.

Just a suggestion though, swap them as often as is convenient for you. Try not to wait until they get really, really weak or cut off. With lithiums, you need never discharge them all the way and there's nothing to be gained by running them low like you would do with the old NiCad batteries. My PV has the same batteries and I never let them get below 3.8 volts. They take a good 5 hours to charge back up again. About an hour or two later, I go ahead and swap them out.

Somewhere
The Roughstack V2 is a solid big battery mod and is very reasonably priced (Mad Vapes is one place that carries it). I love mine.
I love my litle one. Quite powerful, very sturdy and durable and so cute!

I also love my eGo batteries with Stardust LR carto and Smoktech Dual Coils carto.

Yes! --> plus a super-huge, big-thanks shout-out to you, Imsoenthused!!! Because, really, I'm...so enthused now, too! ;)

Sailorman, really appreciate your batt suggestions! Good to know!

(Daughter here now, and as predicted, loves the heat & clouds this thing puts out! ... She attempted to cloak her obvious envy by insinuating that it looks like a gynecological device. hehe)

Congrats on your new unit! U better hide it from your daughter! She might love it and steal that one from you, too. I know I don't let my Lavatube out of my sight when my daughter is around. She smokes Newports but I think she might try to swipe my LT from me if I'm not watching.... Cheaper than buying your own stuff. She doesn't like me vaping because now she can't "borrow" cigarettes from me anymore. Too bad - buy your own. LOL!
