I tell my naysayers... I only switched to shut you up, but you are still whining. one day husband came in the room scrunching up his nose. I just stared at him and said "well, you are just never happy are you". shrug, he left the room. thank goodness I have this forum for support :)

lol honestly you're doing better than me. I got my ego c twist 1000 mah batteries the end of March 2013 and haven't quit completely. I like the juice and all , but I'm a (or was a heavy smoker of camel 99's). I used to smoke about 25 a day give or take and now I smoke 5 or 6.

I wish I could completely quit and just vape like you. I use 24mg juice and think maybe I should up it to 36mg for a while and taper down...............

I smoked and vaped for a long time and I still smoke 2 cigs a day cause I'm old and I want to. here is a thread that you might fine helpful..
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/pay-forward-pif/405553-yes-i-still-smoke-cigarettes-i-am-addicted-smoking-habit-support-chat-thread.html

When someone pulls the "you still need nicotine so you havent quit smoking" line, i stare blankly at them, blink comically until they get really uncomfortable and snap "what?", then i slowly and innocently say "youre, like, so stupid" with an awestruck look on my face.........

lol, I'm gonna steal that

Congrats on your one month of being smoke free! It is the most important decision you will probably ever make regarding your health especially if you have quit before life altering damage has been done to your body. I smoked for over 50 years and much damage was already done but my lungs are 100% better than they were before I started vaping. I can breathe much better and no longer wheeze and cough all the time. So be happy and I hope others around you will also be happy for you!:)

I wanted cake, ya know? And got a pie in the face instead. :glare:

My friend, you deserve cake. A big piece with lots of frosting.
Sounds like your friends need a pie in the face instead. Dolts!

From the heart. Congrats on one month (+1 day as I'm late)

Hey SpiritBear, I know from experience that nothing we say will really take away that "sting" you got:(
I can remember trying to quit smoking (before the mighty e-cig:)) and instead of being congradulated for the one's I didn't smoke I got crititized for every one I did. Sigh, and so I quit trying to quit... However, it is so true that you just have to do these things for yourself & shrug off what other's think. Course...I'm old & could care less:laugh:
Congrats & keep up the good work!

I find that non smokers really don't know as much about smoking as they often act.

When I here the 'you're still addicted to the nicotine' I know that they have lumped everything bad about smoking and blamed it on the nicotine. Lost of times with a simple explanation that the worse thing known medically about nicotine is it can raise your blood pressure so that could be a problem if you have problems with that or put you at a bit more risk for a stroke but you were already there with smoking...

But by now vaping and only taking in nicotine I have stopped taking in at least 60 known carcinogens (that have nothing to do with nicotine), some 400 or more unknown chemical and compounds that no one knows what they do exactly yet but they don't do you any good. As you get another month and another under your belt you can point out that your health has improved and so on.

I actually got to the point where my answer was "Yes... I am ONLY inhaling the nicotine and given the other option it's wonderful for me'.

Its really hard when you finally have success and those who have been pushing you to stop can't see it as one. ANd since getting of analogs goes hand in hand with getting support (whether is 'virtual' by vaping with vapor reviewers on youtube or standing around with friends) having those close cheering you on is something you want need.

My aunt is a very stubborn lady and she just would not get over her belief that cigarettes were nicotine and nothing else and nicotine was responsible for the death of everyone she knew that smoked. There are some people that you won't be able to educate but hopefully with patience you can educate most of all your close ones.

Are these recommendations for New Flavors that I could reward myself with???!! Where do I get the Blue Whale, and the Rainbow?

Not sure about the whale, but there's rainbow sherbet here.
It's a bit sweet for me, but my girlfriend loves it.

Congratulations on a month! I'll be hitting the one month mark on the first.
