Just thought I would ask before making an order. There is about $100.00 worth of stuff I'm wanting to order from TW. I like to check out feedback before I order from places. Browsing this thread I see LOTS of deleted posts. I don't see this much censorship on any of the other vendors threads so I'm a bit nervous here. I've read all the reviews thus far good and bad and that makes me leery as it is but not enough to not order. The only thing holding me back from clicking the order button is all of those deleted posts. It really looks shady. Before a pass judgment though and move elsewhere I thought it would only be fair to see what its all about first.

Sorry for the longish post, here---in response to comment about the video and OP's question about TW:

Honestly I have never ordered from that company. But I am boycotting them because of their "Miss Wicked gets a Mega Tornado" video, which is being discussed in 2 threads. I find it really offensive to women and for that reason, they won't be getting a dollar from me.
I took a look at the video today, LadyP and I agree. (I had a similar reaction when I saw ads for some of the PV's at EastMall) To me, it came across as snarky and plain dumb. Juvenile jock humor.
Some people will think it's genuinely funny or clever and wonder what the fuss is about. They'll roll their eyes at anyone who "can't take a joke." Others will be outraged because they don't understand how anyone could expect them to enjoy a 'joke' made at their expense. I agree that it reflects shaky judgement on the part of TW-- particularly because they are a major supplier in the PV world and because they've assumed a leading role in the legal/political struggle playing out in the UK.
Unless we only vape in the privacy of our own homes, we're all, in a sense, acting as ambassadors for the vaping community. We're all trying hard to be careful about the language we use and the image we project to the general public. This is even more important for suppliers because their message can reach anyone with access to the Web. There is enough distorted information out there already without adding this sort of fuel to the fire (as in---"the stuff tastes like candy AND they're clearly trying to sell this to hormone-driven teenagers!")
It was the sort of 'joke' that should never have gone public. The fact that TW quickly removed it from their web site means that they probably realized it was a mistake and-- if nothing else-- bad PR for their business. That action alone makes a difference to me and, for that reason, I won't boycott the company. But I totally understand and respect your decision to spend your money elsewhere.

Iowa, I'm not sure what the deleted posts are about. You'd have to ask the moderators but usually it means that someone forgot their manners in a big way. I don't think it necessarily means that a negative (but civil) comment was censored--at least I hope not.

If you asked enough people, you would surely get both glowing ("the best out there!") and negative ("never again!) feedback on just about any supplier. My own experience with TW has been very good. Although their products are often (not always) more expensive than others, I've always been really pleased with most of the supplies I've ordered from them. I've placed at least 7 or 8 fairly large orders for myself and for friends to both the UK and the newer USA site. The equipment has held up nicely. Most of the liquid I've purchased has been great stuff---clean clear fluids with interesting complex flavors. Most importantly (and this is what can make or break any company--nomatter what they sell), whenever anything has gone wrong (e.g., missing/incorrect/defective products) they've responded quickly and the problem was resolved. Their customer service (for me at least) has been top notch.

Where ever you decide to spend that 100 bucks, I hope you're happy with the result.

Ok, this got kinda crazy with the whole video thing. I don't give two cents about their crappy and not really humorous video. I also don't really give two cents about womens lib and all that either. The posts I was referring to in my original question were all deleted by the owner of TW not a mod. This is why I was concerned. I haven't really followed TW too much so I thought someone who does might have some insight for me as to weather or not its something to be concerned with. Simple as that. If anyone wants to complain about their video im sure there are other threads to do so in. I believe ladyphoenix has one going over in the women's room for those who would like to continue commenting on that absolutely unimportant issue. GET A GRIP ! ITS CENSORSHIP THAT IS KILLING OR FREEDOM !

So now that that is out of the way does anyone have any input that is actually relevant to the topic I actually started.

I've made about four orders with them and had no issues whatsoever. Good products and fast delivery. The only advice I would give would be if you order any multipacks (attys or batts) be sure to check if they work in the first couple of days so you can get them exchanged promptly. Saying that, I have ordered two 5 packs of 510 attys and a 5 pack of Tornado batteries and not had a single issue with any of them. TW is one of about only four ecig websites I order and the few problems that I have heard about them seemed to be addressed in a pretty timely manner. Hope this helps.

Between TW and TEC which carries the same products and I'm pretty sure is under the same ownership, I've spent maybe $400 over the last year.

The products are good, sometimes best of type, always at least average. The prices are usually the highest in the field. Are you familiar with Monster Cable? TW's position in the e-cig industry is much like Monster's in consumer electronics accessories.

You're seeing the deletions because the owner of TW does not take to criticism well at all. Also, when people do have problems with a product or a shipment, TW's US office people become difficult to reason with if you can reach them at all.

Even though I'm a pretty good customer, the one time I had a problem due to their poor packing of a shipment, I had to use my 30+ years experience in commerce and become "customer from Hell" in order to get what I had paid for. It certainly wasn't worth my time. I did it only out of principle. From this experience, I now buy only when they have a sale.

Recently there was so much mud flying in their direction that the owner got on line and promised some changes. Still, as a customer, it feels like I'm a distraction to them, keeping them from doing their work, whatever that is. In all fairness, I've had employees with this attitude, but I've at least turned them around or gotten rid of them quickly before they polluted the rest of my staff.

BTW: If you don't read this soon after I post it, it will almost certainly be removed.

At least TW isn't a government. If they were, with their attitude, I'd be getting a knock on the door about now.

Well in that case we'll quote it. Finally at least an inkling into the all the deleted posts. That was what concerned me. I can understand a few here and there deleted but there were dozens of them, thats what got me kinda nervous. I know what you mean about going out of your way on principal, been there done that. I now have the best cable rate in the state lol. Glad you posted. It's kinda what I was assuming the censor ship was for... not wanting the public to see what all is really going on. Now that you mention it I do recall the apology video it just didn't click. Thinking back on it now I have a remembrance of it leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Price on items isn't really so much of an issue to me, but knowing reliable customer service is top on my priority list. I don't expect owners to cater to me by any means but knowing they will back me in the event of something going right without having to put up a big fight is key. Thanks again for the insight.

on the issue of deleted posts i have just had a really good browse around the tw section here and every single post deleted that i have seen were for the reason "Reason: Affiliate advertising is not allowed on ECF forums. This includes affiliate discount codes."

the affiliate system used by tw allows quite a few people to have their own affiliate code to offer a discount to people and earn a small percentage each time their code is used.
it is against ecf rules to post affiliate codes on here and that is the reason you see deletions on here.
nothing sinister going on.
they have always been reliable and fast whenever i have ordered from them in the past.

p.s. im nothing to do with tw just an occasional customer.

I order from them and I have not had any prroblems, When I did have a battery that wanted to act up on me, I called them andd they ssaid send it back and I got a new one all within a 5 working days so they get thumbs up from me. I have not tried thier juices,, but thier hardware for my pv's have always been good for me.

This is the TW forum and is paid for and run by TW (AFAIK). TW is a moderator here and could delete any posts here. It's the same at all the suppliers forums.

I have had no problems with TW, bad owner temper and video tastes aside, I am 100% satisfied with the products (not a bad one yet) and delivery.
