Kinda random, but how do your animals react to you vaping

Hey guys, I was just wondering how your animals react to your vapor. I have both dogs and cats. When I smoked cigarettes and my husband smoked cigars (black and milds) one of our cats LOVED the smell of us after we had been smoking. He especially loved the smell of the blacks, you would think my husband was covered in catnip. The cat (Wicket) would rub all over his face and beard and purr like nobodies business.

Since vaping, both the cats and the dogs have not really liked any flavor I have vaped, lol. When I blow out my vapor most of them run away. We never smoked inside so I attribute that mostly to them never seeing a plume of "smoke" before. My other cat Khole will want to smell my mouth if I have been vaping, but doesn't seem particularly to like anything he has smelled.

I was just wondering if anyone's animals really like the smell of any of their juices or what your animals' reactions are to your vapor, especially you cloud chasers out there. I can see a very active and playful cat wanting to play with the vapor.

My dog never liked cigarettes. If he just saw it in my hand, he'd go the other way. He doesn't mind the vape at all.

Gorgeous Dobie! I am a total cat and dog person, though I am more of an "expert" on cats. I bred and showed championship Bengal Cats for 7 years so all my cats are Bengals, except I have one spoiled tobacco lovin' Siberian cat. He would react that way to anyone that came into the house that smoked. Weird I know.

My 2 cats never saw me or anyone else smoke. I don't think they cared one way or the other about the smell of it on my clothes but, now that I think of it, they never used to sit on my lap and now they're on me whenever I sit down. The only scent they might be attracted to is my one strong peppermint vape, but cats are always attracted to mint and will be literally in your face annoying if you have been chewing minty gum or sucking on a peppermint candy.

Before quitting smoking last November, my cat (Ricky) evidently didn't like the smell when I came back inside, he'd smell me & walk away.

Now that I'm vaping & indoors, it doesn't seem to phase him, though at first, some of the tobacco blends that I vaped, he would run from. Now that my favorites are vanilla/coffee flavors, he'll sit in my lap sometimes, always smelling at my drip tip, but I won't let him actually touch it (the nicotine transfer).

I believe it's safe to say he's cool with it.

My cattle just don't seem to pay any attention at all to my vaping. The neighbors llama on the other hand... I just can't tell about that critter, but I'm pretty sure he notices and I'm pretty sure if I got a little closer to the fence, he'd spit... but really, I think if I got a little closer to the fence he'd spit weather or not I was vaping. That critter just ain't right.

I've posted this before but my one dwarf cat, Batcat, couldn't stand the smell/fumes of a real cigarette. She'd sit on my lap for hours if I never smoked. As soon as I lit up a real cig, she'd jump right off.

Now with vaping, she'll look at me, assess the situation, and sit happily on my lap. She's still leery about it as she has to smell the vape first to determine whether she's gonna desert me or not.

I smoked menthol. I vape menthol. She's a happy cat!

I have 3 dogs. My husband still smokes cigarettes. There's no difference on how any of them treat us. They love and treat us both equally.

It doesn't bother one of my dogs but my other dog will smell it and try to bite and eat it. It is very funny to watch lol.

See that is what I wish my cat would do....I would totally love to see a video of a cat attacking the vapor kinda like when I blow catnip bubbles for the cats and they attack them...funny!
