When I first purchased my Vamo I thought the black chrome was the coolest looking one out of the color options. Placed my order and now that I have it, I seem to have slight buyers remorse due to the fact that there aren't many tanks or rba's that match up to black chrome.

I have somewhat of a knack of matching colors and owning things that are aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. Now looking back I probably should have bought a chrome or stainless steel version. A side note though, it vapes like a champ!

Will prolly upgrade to a mech mod or a hybrid here in the coming months. I noticed I get a little bit of mod envy when I see peoples setups.

Yeah I got the ss because I just know I'd scratch the other two up in no time.

If you're into carto tanks I think the gunmetal U-DCT would probably look great on a gunmetal VAMO.
I have never ordered from this site but this is the tank I'm talking about: Black Chrome U-DCT

I'll check these out, thanks for the link.

I'm thinking about applying an anodized spray coating to change up the color, maybe like a blue. Does anyone have any experience with this at all?

You might want to take a look over at the VAMO forum. (I dont know how to include the link)
There were several people over there who claimed spray coating them wouldnt work. I know jwrap makes all sorts of wraps for the VAMO. You might wanna check them out.

Well I know I will have to strip the chrome plating first for the spray to adhere to the metal, but I was interested in seeing if anybody has successfully done it with out botching their mod.

You can look thru the Tips and Tricks thread under VAMO - I know there was a conversation about doing just that, but I havent looked thru it lately (Its a long thread)
