King Fox Cigarette implies FDA approval. That's not good. I have never heard of these guys. It looks like a direct manufacturer. The FDA won't like that and doesn't benefit us at all.

This guy is in China, what's the FDA supposed to do about it? What good is asking them for a nonexistent number?

I've seen that pic also, and on this forum not long ago. There were videos of a working shop to go with it, I think. Then too, with such a generic scene, you could add any caption.

All this discussion about FDA approval...has me very confused. As long as no manufacturer makes any medical claim regarding e cigarettes then it is not under FDA jurisdiction. If manufacturers/distributors start making claims that the ecigs are healthier than cigarettes and are a good way to quit cigaretttes...than the FDA can get involved. Manufacturers that make claims now should really stop it ....that will get the FDA off of everyone's backs.

I don't believe there is anything against stating a product is a healthier alternative to tobacco products. Mint Snuff does it all the time and I do not believe they are FDA approved. Though you are 100 percent correct on the claim to use the devices as a tool to quit. I have seen some online resellers here in the US that do make that claim. I won't say who, but he is new and obviously did not do his homework.

Sure we do. They say it's worse, we say well cigarettes were gonna kill us anyway, at least this way I can die in a sweet cloud of vapor.

Good questions there, I haven't really thought about it a heck of a lot. I bought my first e-cig so I could get away with smoking on a plane, and I just got my second now because I like it.
No idea what I would do if I found it was worse than an analog..

I'm no doctor but IMO there is NO conceivable way that vaping is worse than smoking. It may or may not be totally safe (my gut tells me it is basically safe) but there is no doubt that it is better than the alternative.
