That just doesn't seem right. However you'd have to have a lot to make it worth the drive.

That's how they are getting away with it. The law just says they have to give you the CRV value that you paid when you bought them. They are making a really nice profit since the state gives them the CRV they pay out plus then they get the full scrap value on top of that. Nobody is willing to drive out of town just to turn in cans
Yes they are but it's legal and as long as they are the only game in town they will continue to do it
Yes they do. Bad thing is this place is owned by waste management. They are huge. There used to be another smaller place here locally put they bought them out then closed it

I hate days like that. Every time your making progress the phone rings. Somebody should set up a couple of those little cheapie web cams that upload to a site then email the boss the link so he can see what his money is getting him
Also when they were busy out front in the office, they transferred two or three sales calls to me. That kind ...... me off.
I know but most don't care. It's just a matter of how quick they can pass the buck.
True. Next time just say oh I'm sorry this is repairs. Somebody must've transferred you here by mistake and transfer call back up front
That's actually not a bad idea as long as it wasn't the boss that transferred it.
