I've tried the nickel and the rba on the crown. I'm still using the stainless coils that came on the rba already installed. I did rewick a couple times but the coils still looked good.
Glad you mentioned the coil on the rba was stainless, I wasn't paying much attention when I wicked it. I am really enjoying the factory dual .25 so much I have thought about just ordering more coils.

I ordered a pack of nickel coils when I ordered my first rba just in case the rba was a pain. I don't have a temp control mod that has a stainless setting so I've been running them in wattage mode just fine.
What wattage setting? I'd rather use it than go through all the steps to set up tc. (I have 5 mods with TC and still use power mode) Cube II, Wismec RX 200, Koopor 200, Sigelei 75, and UD Balrog (4 were won in contests, bought the Wismec for Xmas).

    Somewhere between here and there

The stainless coil on the rba measures about .25 on my cloupor. I've been running mostly around 20 watts with the air hole on the smallest opening and get really good flavor. It could probably go higher if I opened the airflow up on it. To me the stainless coil gives a little cleaner taste than what I was used to.
