I don't have any kids but I can relate to the expenses. Going back to college for a third degree has taken its toll on me. In about 2 1/2 years I should have my BSN and RN. Have you thought about driving uber?

I don't think my boss would like me driving for uber with a company car. Besides, I wouldn't do that without a conceal and carry permit. Too many crazies out there. I could probably pick up some electrical work on the side if I need to.
